The procedure Friday to place the Stent from the ostomy up to the kidneys went great, although they only placed one since it would be just as effective due to my anatomy. As I expected, I have been diuresing like crazy since then; 5750 mL on Saturday alone! That is 2x my normal and 3x a normal adult 24h output! This makes me really hopeful that my creatinine will be down. If it is, then I will need a skin level revision surgery since that is where there is redundant (extra) tissue which collapses on itself and causes an obstruction until enough pressure builds up to push through. The surgeon doesn't want to recheck labs until the 1 week mark on Friday, but I've sent a message to my primary care to see if I can check it today while I'm in town. Speaking of, I'M HOMEWARD BOUND! I will be back in MT at 1:30 this afternoon after a total of 35 days in MN! I have missed my family SO MUCH and am so ready to see them! I will miss Aunt Emy and Uncle Hugh, though. Uncle Hugh reminds me a lot of my dad and Aunt Emy and I were able to have a lot of really fun and interesting conversations - she is like my fun older sister! They have blessed me by caring for me during these past weeks of this ordeal and I am so lucky to have married into such an amazing family. If I get any lab results today, I will update.
