Angela’s Story

Site created on December 26, 2019

On Wednesday December 18th, 2019, Angie went to the Urgency Room with severe abdominal pain.  A CAT scan revealed a large mass on her colon that they believed to be a tumor.  She was immediately admitted to Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina MN, and after the doctors there reviewed the scans they concluded that it was almost certainly colon cancer.  The scan indicated a mass somewhere between the size of a golf ball and an orange.

Newest Update

Journal entry by GEORGE MOZEIKA

I know it’s been a while but it’s been kind of the same routine for the last 4 months. It became a cycle of nausea and fatigue but on Wednesday July 1st,  Angie had a CT Scan along with bloodwork and we received the news that the scan and bloodwork came back negative for cancer!!!! With this news came the end of Angies chemotherapy treatment as well!
Angie can now out this chapter of her life behind her and move on to the next chapters. There will be more scans and visits with the Oncologist on a regular basis for the next few years.
Many thanks to all of you for your love, support and prayers!! We couldn’t have done it without you!!!

Love,
