Brief little update: Andy is off the TPN. His appetite isn’t amazing but certainly better. The scan results came back as expected- which is good! There’s residual malabsorption issues- unknown how long that will be- could be awhile. One of the complications with the Whipple. He’s on many supplements and vitamins to counter that. Keeping weight on will be a challenge I think for a bit, as well. 

He’s entered the “monitoring phase” now in terms of the cancer; Scans every 3 months. The journey is certainly not over, but I think we can say we won this major battle of it. 

I’ll post should things come up, but assume no news is good news 🙂 certainly good news for now… finally!!
