Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. As you know, Andrea suffered a minor stroke on Tuesday, January 3rd and during treatment of that, has since endured a series of complications that nobody could have fathomed. She is currently requiring a great deal of care and monitoring in the Neuro-Medicine ICU at Strong Hospital. At this time, with the recommendation from her care team, we are asking that only family members visit the hospital. This will allow Andrea time to heal, as these initial days are extremely critical.
We appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love, prayers and support and feel so grateful to be held up in prayer by so many people. Please visit the site regularly as we will provide updates as they are available and appropriate.
We understand that Andrea has so many individuals that love her dearly. Please feel free to send cards addressed to her at the following address. If you would like to include a picture, we will make sure that it is hung up in her room. At this time, she is not allowed to have fresh flowers in her ICU room.
