Journal entry by Mindy Caron

This morning I awoke to a smiley Analise standing at the end of my bed holding a tray. She had prepared  breakfast in bed for Ben & me. Scrambled eggs and toasted English muffins...she had it all planned. Talk about sweet! She really loves to serve others.

It's been three weeks since we were told by doctors that Analise had only a few weeks to a few months to live. It is hard to describe in words all the emotions the last few weeks have produced. The best news is that since returning home, Ana has been seizure and pain free! She has a few minor headaches, but nothing very severe. So thankful!!  She is doing very well.  She is tired and moves around the house slowly, but when she is up she is smiley and jumping into whatever the other kids are doing. She loves being home. She was  excited to go ice skating last Sunday! Today she went ice fishing with Ben and the boys.   :)

Psalm 40:

I waited patiently for the Lord;
    he inclined to me and heard my cry.
He drew me up from the pit of destruction,
    out of the miry bog,
and set my feet upon a rock,
    making my steps secure.
 He put a new song in my mouth,
    a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
    and put their trust in the Lord.
