Newest Update

Journal entry by Amy Stolzenburg

WOWZER!  It has been 3 months since my original surgery and 2 months from my oops surgery 😅 I realized that I should just give a quick update about life for Amy since surgery two!

April 3rd was a BIG day in the Stolzy house as I was finally able to get my drains out.  I have a whole new respect for those who have to have deal with ports, drains, etc.

That being said healing has been coming along nicely and I am finally able to focus on the reconstruction phase.  I went back to work on February 27th and continue to get a little better everyday.  Not quite ready to play volleyball or service pivots with Dad, but getting laundry accomplished is a big WIN!  (Who are we kidding...... that is a big accomplishment in general 🤪)

While there were a couple of bumps in the road over the past few months I am thankful for the outpouring support I have from the greatest family and friends that a girl could have!

As my journey continues to get better I am able to get back to normal and reminded to enjoy the little things just a bit more now..... here are just a few memories 🥰

Band recitals for Mo

Nails and Casino shenanigan's with Jaime

Lunches with Dad & Joan, Marsha, Lisa, Terri, Tara, Led, Kris & Jason, Rylee & Morgan

Horse racing in memory of my Grandpa EJ, with extended family I had not see for a while

A walk at the lake with Mike and Rylee, followed up by funnel cakes and lemonade

State Basketball and swimming with my babies, Colty, Rae and Stella

Birthday Celebration for Uncle Fred with the Reed families

Numerous visits, calls, cards, texts and messages from many of you that "ALL MADE MY DAY"!! (Way too many of you to list, but you all know who you are.)

Thanks again for all of your 🙏 and 💖

We are thankful for each and every one of you!

God Bless!

Amy, Mike, the kiddos 🧒 and the puppy dogs🐶
