Journal entry by Kathleen schell

This is going to be the hardest journal entry I have made so far.  Yesterday April 6th at 3:40 am Mom went to be in heaven.  My sister Becky and I were by her side.  Over her last 24 hours it was very clear that Mom could still hear us and she knew what was going on.  Her body was just unable to fully communicate with us.  Over the last day mom spent most of her time sleeping but there were moments that she would open her eyes and say something.  Her oldest grand daughter came to say goodbye and it was very clear that Mom knew she was there.  Dad also came to say goodbye and she responded to his voice. Visitation will be this Friday April 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Hanson Runsvold  funeral home.  There will be a prayer service at 7:00. The funeral is at First Lutheran Church at 1:00 on Saturday April 10th.  Over these last few days there have been many people reaching out to us showing us support.  Thank you all very much I have heard many found things about my Mom and how important she was to so many people.  She may not be with us here on earth any more but the impact she has made on this community will be remembered forever.
