10,000 tears And 1,000,000 pleads and prayers have all lead us to today.
Today, 457 days later, Amber Jo is in REMISSION 🧡
Going forward, Amber will be on an at home chemotherapy. With her high risk diagnosis, her care team wants her on a chemotherapy regimen to reduce her risk of relapse. She will take the oral chemo for 7 days every 4 weeks while being monitored by her care team bi monthly. They will monitor her because this chemo can cause counts to drop and hers are on the lower end to start. Another bone marrow biopsy will be done after the first 2 rounds of chemo.
Thank you all for your unwavering support and prayers. She wouldn’t be where she is today without it. Now we can focus on planning a trip somewhere with blue water and ice cold beverages because.....Today is the first day of the rest of her life ❤️
