Journal entry by Amanda Semmler

Sorry to have left you all hanging. I had my 2 year post transplant bone marrow biopsy back in November. Everything came back clear, no signs and 100% donor stem cells. Since I am past 2 years will clean tests, I am considered cured! Leukemia is one they can cure not just in remission. I am very thankful that I am cured.

January 2024, I was taken off all of chemo meds. I will follow-up with my Fargo doctor every 6 months for blood work just to make sure. Then eventually I will just follow up with my primary.

I no longer need to go to the U of M.

Such a strange feeling and I realize how truly blessed I have been.

Thank you to everyone for your continued prayers and support over this long journey. I truly appreciate it and the prayers worked.

Wish you all the best.

This will be my last post since I am cured.

Thank you very much.
