Journal entry by Alyson Cohn

Sadly had to say goodbye to my parents as they had to go home. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me.
Larry had to be somewhere yesterday, so Marci came by to stay with me and bring me yummy mac and cheese for lunch. Thanks Marci. I always know I can count on you.
Larry had somewhere to be with Justin today so Eliza took time out of her busy schedule to come and spend the day with me. She even helped me take a shower, a truly comical experience. Thank God for my family, who are willing to do these crazy things with me.
I am now able to walk all around the living room without my walker. This may not seem like such a big deal, but it's huge. Still need the cane to get up and down the stairs. The hardest thing to do continues to be getting in and out of bed or up and down from a chair, but each day is a little better. I'm not used to tiring so easily or having to ask for help, but this too shall pass. Looking forward to spending with my Aunt Joni on Tuesday night and Wednesday since she'll be coming out to stay with me while Larry goes into NYC for a meeting.
That's it for now. Goodnight all.
