Remembering Pam Carnie

Pamela Jeanne Carnie, 63, a native of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, was promoted from this earth into Heaven on Sunday, January 24, 2021. She is survived by her father, George Carnie, her siblings and their spouses, Peter and Sharon Freely, and Steven and Ruth Mitchell, and many nieces and nephews, and a very large, loving family of friends.

Pam was passionate about prayer, Israel and the Jewish people, her family and friends, and of course, her students. Those who knew her knew she was full of God and full of love for everyone she knew. She gave of herself freely and served and blessed others selflessly with every opportunity she had. She loved the Lord and shared that love with everyone she met – the Love of Yeshua (Jesus) poured out of her and was infectious to those around her. She was a precious friend to many, a teacher, mentor and tutor to her students at Alief Hastings High School in Alief, TX for thirty years. In addition to her role as teacher and mentor, she became friends with many of her students, counseling and praying for them and enlisting others to pray with her for them. She was an encourager to everyone she met. She played her flute wholeheartedly on the worship team of her synagogue, Congregation Beth Messiah, for thirty years, as well as serving there in other capacities.

While all who knew and loved her will miss her greatly, we know she is now in the most joyful and glorious place, and is happy, whole, and pain free. She will be greatly missed here but we know she is rejoicing today in Heaven, and if she left one message reflective of her life on earth, it is: welcome Yeshua into your heart and serve Him only.

A memorial service will be held at Congregation Beth Messiah on February 10, 2021, at 11AM. Anyone is welcome to attend.
