Alison Marie Walls Obituary

Alison Marie Walls, 39, went to be with her Lord on June 9, 2022.  She was born December 22, 1982, in Port Huron, MI.  Alison is a 2001 graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School, Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005 and earned her master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012.  She was an ordained pastor.

Most recently, she has lived in Oklahoma City with her best pal, Tucker Lee the labradoodle. Ali absolutely loved this city and her community in OKC. OKC Community church was a huge part of her life as she served as an active member and friend to all.

She was active in her church and loved Jesus.  Her faith in Jesus Christ was an inspiration to everyone who met her. She shared Him at every opportunity and lived in such a way to show His love to all. Going into surgery this week, her faith brought her peace. She even stated in the hours before surgery that if she was ever on life support with no hope, “I want to be with Jesus, you know that!”

Alison was a proud aunt, sister, daughter, niece and granddaughter. Vacation time was almost always spent in her home state of Michigan with her family. Her mother Jane (Mark) Holsbeke, sister Amanda (Brandon) Wagner, niece and nephew Turner and Pearl, Grandfather Philip Wideman, aunts Joy (Ron) Sutherland and Susan Wideman, Uncle Tom (Lisa) Wideman and cousin Cameron Wideman will forever miss Ali and her infinite advice and wisdom.  She was preceded in death by her “Grandma Mert”.

A celebration of Alison’s life will be held July 9, at 11 am, Croswell Wesleyan Church, Croswell, MI. Rev Ryan Budde, officiating. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to a go-fund-me page that has been set up in memory of Alison at https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-alison-marie-walls
