Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

I would love to keep everyone updated on my health journey, 5 weeks ago I went to the ER with some severe back pain, they scanned me and found a tumor, I was sent to OU Medical Center to be examined by a team of neurologists and then had surgery to remove the tumor.  They were able to remove 90% of the tumor and had to leave some of it in there since it was wrapped around my sacrum, after pathology came back it was revealed that the tumor was cancerous and they thought it might be Ewing’s Sarcoma and are currently still doing tests to nail down exactly what it is!  I am currently being seen at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa and really just wanted everyone to be able to follow along on my journey.  I will continue to update this as much as possible as more info becomes available!  I know God has his hand in this situation and I am healed and whole!  I know that God is turning this situation to good and can’t wait to see what he does through me during this time!  I am
In excellent spirits and thank everyone so much for their continued to support!!!  Your prayers and thoughts are welcome and appreciated! If you want to give to this situation there is a Gofund me set up for people who feel it on their heart to do so that’s attached to this page- thank you again for all your support!!

Journal entry by Alison Hackett

Hey friends!! This is probably one of the last one of these I will write.  I finished my last chemo treatment on Monday and got to ring the bell!! I finished all 17!! I still had to get chemo though and am still recovering from treatment, so far just feeling really fatigued and having issues with my mouth, hopefully those will subside in a few days!  I’m so excited that once I’m done recovering from this round it’s all done and I don’t have to have anymore chemo.  I will also have a scan at the end of the month to ensure everything looks good, which I’m sure everything look great!  I’m going back to work in September which I’m very excited about!  Feel free to reach out with texts and phone calls!   Love y’all so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
