We have very good news to share.
Alice's endocrinologist called and said that he reviewed the scan she had last week.
He saw no evidence of disease.
He said he saw no further metastases, and that the radioactive iodine therapy worked exactly as he'd hoped.
Sweet little Alice!
No more waiting, no more bracing, and hopefully a little easier breathing for all of us.
In April, Alice will have another sedated blood draw, and then another appointment with the endocrinologist. But, at this moment, we believe Alice is in the clear!
I'm not sure what else to say. Frankly, I am still processing this news.
I will keep the site updated when anything comes up.
