Dear friends of Alice and Chris,
Alice Bassett-Jellema passed over to Eternal Life with God this morning around 2:30 AM. Quietly, at home, with Chris.
Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant Alice. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.
And may we all keep loving and working and dancing and praying for justice and peace as Alice would have us do! May her memory be a blessing.
