Journal entry by Jaime Morse

After 4 1/2 long months we are very excited to let everyone know that Dad will be coming home on Thursday. Words can not express how grateful we are that this day has come. We have had so many ups and downs these past 4 1/2 months that it seems hard to believe that this day is near. My sister-in-law Shelly put it perfectly when she said “For anyone that doesn’t believe in miracles or the power of prayer ..... please look again ❤️🙏 We are truly blessed! Thanks to each and every one of you!”

Even though Dad is coming home he still has quite a bit to overcome. He will be receiving out-patient physical therapy to help with his severe ataxia which is impaired balance and coordination due to the damage of his brain. He is only able to walk a few steps with assistance, therefore he needs to use a wheelchair or walker. He also has horizontal nystagmus which is involuntary eye movement which causes the eyes to move rapidly from side to side, up and down or in a circle. This also causes blurred and double vision. The doctors have stated that all of these things should improve with time. So please keep praying for Dad’s continued healing. 💕
