Oh what a month it has been. April 27th was when I took my 5th round of chemo. What does that mean? It means that May was/is going to be very draining and it has been.
Over the last month, Conner had baseball, prom, BPA, Graduation Party and Graduation and Wyatt has had baseball, choir concert and camping with scouts. I am so thankful for everyone who has helped us and reminded me of things going on this month.
Unfortunately for me my platelets enjoy being under 100 and all blood tests have come in under where they should be at some point in time and some never where it should be. That means lots of body pain, exhaustion, forcing yourself to eat, rest and pushing yourself a little harder to never miss a kids event. I have 1 more round of chemo coming up and I hope my Doc decides what can be done after chemo to help prevent more surgeries and start healing my body. I know the odds of that 🤣 I will continue to push forward as I know the boys have scouts, camping, baseball, football practice, agility and getting Conner ready for Fargo coming up.
It's my life and I will live it my way. Never let cancer define who you are, stay true to yourself and keep moving forward!
