Journal entry by Tracy Clark

Because he lives, I can face tomorrow!

As difficult as the last few months have been, I cant be anything but thankful for each day!

Sunday I left the kids for Rochester as Monday was time for more MRI'S, appointments and hopefully news for another round of chemo. My MRI and blood work went smoothly as it was the first day of some MRI changes they have made. After my MRI, my shunt needed to be adjusted and it was time to find something to do as my next appointment was 4 hours away. Off to Costco and Sam's Club I went as Conner's graduation is only 30 days away and we have a party to get ready for!

I then went back to the Mayo and talked to an Oncologist. Pulling up my scan, the front left tumor is still there but this doctor missed my back left tumor until I pointed it out. Bonus to that is one tumor is very faint and one is looking stable. This time I also decided to ask lots of questions and make the doctor think of what next treatments could be as I only have a couple rounds of Chemo left and I don't want my tumor to grow... again.... After making the kind doctor think, off to the hospital I went. Unfortunately when I walked in, all I could think about was the 17 days I spent there. I signed into my appointment and it was time for my brain fluid drain for trial testing.  They were happy to receive 2 vials for studies. When that was completed, home I went!

It's my life and I will live it my way. Never let cancer define who you are, stay true to yourself and keep moving forward!
