Perhaps it was the amazing doctors, the incredible entire transplant team, all the prayers far and wide from all of you, or angels looking over Charlie from above - but we think it was mostly Charlie himself!

The character, maturity, strength, attitude, mental toughness and personality are what got this 16 year old through these life experiences.  He's overcome more than we can all process for now but his inspiration to us all, is the path we follow.

• The 4 biopsies from his first “new heart cath” all showed no signs of rejection.
• The 16 prescriptions he takes every 12 hours are being tolerated and working.
• His strength, appetite and stamina are all beginning to come back.
• Everyone passed the formal education training and tests.
• Charlie promised to follow transplant orders to stay out of public for 3 months.

This means.........WE'RE HOME!!!
