Matt had an upbeat day filled with little girls' laughter, sunshine and warmth on a gorgeous fall day. Thanks for your continued understanding as we made this a Barry girls only weekend.

My sister Lindsey (AKA Zz) arranged for a little dream come true. Two rad ladies showed up at hospice to do some piercing! The girls have been begging and finally got daddy to agree in a moment of weakness (can you say opportunists?!) so this was their sister birthday gift. They were very brave and very happy. I can't say enough great things about Ink Life Tattoo Studio for making it a super fun memory.

Later in the day, my amazing friend Aileen showed up with the 1,000 origami cranes project that she led to honor Matt. You may have folded some cranes at his birthday party.
