Another Hurdle: It’s been one step forward, two steps back lately. This week is proving to be another challenging one. Following a post-op appointment in Boston, I unexpectedly found myself back in the hospital for the fourth time. The removal of packing in my head and stitches in my nose triggered a severe reaction, landing me in Mass General Hospital with excruciating pain and alarming symptoms. Despite the setback, I was fortunate to receive prompt evaluation and care from the surgical team. While there are no complications, it was a grueling and painful ordeal. By Monday night I was at least looking at the hospital from the outside through a hotel window. Needing to stay closer than I’d like.
