Addi’s Story

Site created on October 2, 2023

We know there are so many people that care for our sweet Addi. We created this site to help keep everyone updated and informed.

On September 27th, Addi was diagnosed with ALL Type-B Leukemia. Addi was admitted to Pediatric ICU and began treatment.

Addi tells us she is “Super Addi” and is she 100% right. She is already using her spunk and  spirit with the hospital staff .  We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support we have received. The staff at the hospital is amazing as we all work together to help Addi get well.

Please keep our little girl in your thoughts and prayers.

Day 17 of our journey, and day 4 of our 2nd hospital stay on this journey.

Addi’s results came back last night that she has the Rhino virus (common cold). We are her until they are comfortable her body can help fight and this doesn’t turn into something worse.

Today her WBC went up to .4 and neutrophils went from 4 to 20. So this means her body is starting to make healthy blood again!!

She hasn’t been feeling well today, due to her cold, but we had a chill day in the room and Mimi brought us fun arts and crafts, and puzzles!

AND ANOTHER WIN - my fruit baby is eating cantaloupe and grapes tonight! 🎉

14 days until we find out how treatmeant is looking by looking at her bone marrow again. Need lots and lots of prayers that chemotherapy is working and 0 leukemia is detected. This will mean a “better” chemo cycle next phase (month).

Please continue to pray for Addi’s body to stay strong to fight her Leukemia 🙏🏼❤️ pray her immune system stays strong from sicknesses, immune complications or infections. And pray the medicine is doing it’s magic.

You got this Super Addi!
