Hi. We were finally able to get a referral to Mayo Clinic for a 2nd opinion on Adams condition. He became ill the end of September. We have done all the GI tests and procedures here in Sioux Falls. Adam has lost over 35lbs since this began. The GI department was not timely with any documentation or requests that we had. As a result of their negligence my husband had to voluntarily resign from his job the end of November. His employer really liked Adam as he was a good employee and told him sometime down the road when he gets well enough to come and reapply with them. We have exhausted our financial resources due to his illness and the long period of time that passed to get some answers. My husband was diagnosed with SIBO and a food intolerance but the antibiotics (2 rounds) FODMAP diet and probiotics have not made any difference in his symptoms. We just got a referral to Mayo today. We are very eager to get another opinion that will help Adam to get better. We are asking for any support from family and friends. We do not have the funds for travel or lodging for this trip to Mayo. Our family appreciates your time in reading about our story. Thank you
