Newest Update

Journal entry by Jody Hankis Snyder

It has been just over a month since my last update, and here we are. 💙

Adam's vision is good with the prism glasses - no more tunnel vision or motion sickness during car rides. Starting outpatient PT and speech therapy (for memory) twice a week now. Has appt the end of this month to assess his vision again. As his brain heals, they may need to adjust his glasses and he may not need the prism lens forever. Adam's appetite is slowly coming back, too.

He walks almost every day, and even ran a few steps one day - felt like it, so he did! 🏃

Last weekend, there was a cornhole tournament for Adam and he was able to make an appearance. Seeing him with friends, co-workers and family made it an awesome day!

He also made it to Mila's 6th birthday party and a soccer game! Now that time is on his side, Adam is trying hard to get back to "normal." He may even make an appearance at Flo's this weekend to see some friends. 🤗

We continue to be amazed by Adam's progress and his desire to find the best version of himself. . 💪

Always, Jody
