Ingrid said mom was a little tired today but ate a bit. She had some sass back in her and that was good to hear. Can’t deny I’m hitting the pillow with a heavy heart as we said good night. I’m so grateful we spoke before bed but it kills me to know she’s in a hospital bed and still with pain. 
One day at a time is all i can chant to myself.
