Abigail’s Story

After several months of searching for answers to an intermittent knee pain, the doctors found an 8cm mass growing from Abigail’s right adrenal gland. 

On Thursday, March 30th she had a CT lead biopsy done to determine what type of cancer and how best to move forward. 

We are awaiting an official diagnosis, but the doctor’s believe it to be a high-risk neuroblastoma.  

We are extremely grateful for the Ochsner Pediatric Oncology team that have been so kind and loving to Abi as we begin this journey.

We are extremely hopeful Abi will beat this, and be back to being our sassy, spunky little girl!


We cannot express our extreme gratitude for all of the prayers and support we have been given! Please keep them coming!!!

Abi, nearly 3 years old, has the love and support of her parents Sandi & Stephen, and siblings Gabe (8), Lilli (6), and all of her family and friends!

Sorry for the gap in posts - mom and dad have been sharing updates on fb.  For those without fb here are a few new pics and an update!

After a great week at Archbishop Hannan High School Camp and a fun weekend at the beach, Abi is ready to finish active treatment strong with her final hospital admit and last round of chemo!!! She doesn’t officially end with treatment till mid August but we are one step closer!

Abi is doing her last round of in hospital treatment and she will have another set of scans that we are praying still show no cancer!  

Abi is starting Pre-K in the fall.  We are all very optimistic that she will stay clear and return to a non treatment life!
