Chemo #8 is completed and was uneventful, our favorite kind!!! There was a question this morning about whether or not it would occur today due to yesterday's hip surgery, but ultimately they decided to proceed! That was such wonderful news because any delay would force a re-schedule of her surgery on August 8. She had a lot of visitors today; Sara, Sarah, Jacob (& Bjorn) and Nathan!

The surgery yesterday went very well, and there were no signs of deeper infection. It was all superficial infection, but they still don't know exactly why it happened.

We are so grateful for your prayers and your partnership with us on thia treatment journey!  Thank you, thank you, thank you! We know God has a plan for all of this; we need to have peace and rest in his faithfulness.
