HUGE praise report!!!!! Answered prayers people! So the tissue that was removed from Aaron’s abdomen shows no sign of cancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We are going from stage 3 cancer with aggressive chemo to…..drum roll please….Stage 1 say it again…Stage 1 people with radiation!!!

We are in a place where they are as certain as they possibly can be that this is Stage I disease, localized to the neck, and we are proceeding with radiation therapy. The disease is rare to begin with and has thrown the doctors a bit of a curve-ball in the work-up, but they are monitoring closely to assure that the treatment works and that no disease elsewhere shows up on future scans.

Monitoring him more closely than regulatory/guideline organizations typically recommend for our case which amounts to more scans than would be typical for most patients over the next year or two.

We now have an appointment with a physician, the most senior radiation oncologist treating lymphoma at UC Davis cancer center in Sacramento. All our physicians have been there. They all have been amazing in caring for Aaron and the communication has been absolutely great!

We cannot express how much we appreciate everyone’s prayers, love & support, messages of encouragement, meals, people shopping for us, driving our kids around and feeding them!, etc in this season of our lives.

Love, Aaron, Lisa, Conner, Brady and CJ.
