Aaron’s Story

Site created on July 11, 2022

Aaron Huedepohl is 35 years old and is a very beloved son, brother, boyfriend, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend to so many people who have had the benefit of him being part of their lives! He is originally from Iowa but he and his dog Harley moved to Georgia in 2021 so that he could be a major part of his niece’s/goddaughter’s life and watch her grow up! He met Sarah a couple months after he moved to Georgia and they have been dating since the first day they met. Aaron is very close with family and friends and enjoys spending time with everyone he loves. He’s a believer in Christ and loves to help people. He is a big golfer (even though his brother always beats him) and has a passion for motorcycles. Going on motorcycle trips with his family and friends on his Harley is a very important part of his life and something he thoroughly enjoys!

He was diagnosed with tongue cancer in November of 2021 and went through surgery & radiation treatment. Several months passed after radiation but his pain never subsided and his energy level and weight kept dropping. After what seemed like a very long time, he finally received another PET scan and found that the cancer had spread to multiple parts of his body. After a less than hopeful outlook from the hospital he was being treated at in GA, we found out about an alternative place that has been helping thousands of cancer patients, who were all but written off by conventional healthcare, discover holistic cancer treatment options. This clinic is called Envita Medical Center and it is located in Arizona. They have provided hope and a fighting chance to overcome Aaron’s Disease! Due to the medical community being the way it is, the treatment provided at Envita is not covered by insurance plus Aaron will be living in Arizona while treating his cancer at Envita. We know a lot of people that know Aaron have been praying for him and want to be able to support him during his journey battling cancer. This page has been created so that we can continue to share Aaron's story as he battles cancer. Please continue to pray for Aaron and if you'd like to support him financially, please visit: https://gofund.me/d9daebc6

Journal entry by scott huedepohl

Humbled to Blessed!  I've used the word "humbled" quite a bit over the past 6 months during and after Aaron's fight with cancer.  Today I want to change that word to blessed.

We are so blessed to have so many friends and family members that have done so much over this time.  Aaron was such a great person,  loved by many,  and we were blessed to be his family.  We are also blessed to have such caring people as you to help us (and him) along the way.

We hosted Aaron's celebration of life a few days ago and once again you showed so much love.  We pray  that we can now begin the long journey of healing and with God's help,  we will make it.  We count the days until we are with Aaron again.  We hope he's an anxious to see us as we are him.   :-)

This will conclude my journal notes.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  You have done more for us than you will ever know.  You are all angels sent from God.

We are blessed..........
