Journal entry by McKenzie Gregg —
Happy Sunday Family and Friends,
Aaron came home from the hospital on September 27th. Since then he has started daily therapies where he has shown great improvements. A short time after returning home Aaron started home-bound school for a total of 5 hours a week and since then he has returned to school for 2 hours a day! He was able to participate in NWEA testing at school and although his scoring was lower than previous years he still scored within average range.
He is making progress daily but still has a lot of healing to do. His back does still remain in a brace but he was able to make the best out of it this year for Halloween where he went trick or treating as a teenage mutant ninja turtle with his brace as his shell!
Parts of Aaron's memory has returned since the accident and we are thankful to now know there was not a motorized vehicle involved.
We are grateful for all the prayers our family has received and continues to receive since Aaron's accident. We truly believe that without your prayers and the Power of God this update would not be the most positive outcome we could have imaged.
