Peggy Piers

Peggy went in to open heart surgery on the morning of October 11, 2021 at St. Vincent's. They are performing bypass surgery on a beating heart and it should last 4-6 hours. We will start having updates on her condition this afternoon (10/11) so that everyone can stay informed on her condition. She will likely remain in the hospital until this weekend, if all goes well.


Starting this weekend, we would very gratefully accept help with meals. The Meal Train link is in the "Ways to Help" tab. Feel free to claim a meal spot if you would like to help in that way. Nathan will be coordinating meals and communication as much as possible as Shelley will be caring for Peggy as she recovers.
