Noah Shockley

We are using this CaringBridge site to keep family and friends updated in one place rather than trying to keep up with  individual emails, texts and calls. Noah's parents will be reading him all of the messages of support and words of hope and encouragement.
Noah was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit at Randall Children's Hospital on October 26 because he was having extra heart beats that were disrupting his heart rhythm. That evening, he was sedated for a cardioversion procedure to shock his heart back into rhythm. This initially worked but they've also had to use medication that has now gotten these PVCs under control.  He is still in the ICU to be closely monitored while on this medication. His heart is still enlarged with decreased heart function. Noah is being transferred to Seattle Children's Intensive Care unit on Tuesday, November 9 for further treatment.

*** Here is Noah’s address if you’d like to send him a card or something to encourage him. He can’t receive flowers or balloons in the ICU.
