Jay was traveling for his ministry in May when he damaged his feet in Indonesia. After months of working on all the doctor requests that would hopefully aide in his recovery, he became septic and contracted an infection in his foot. Jay was hospitalized on July 26 and they began antibiotics to attack the infection and try to rid the sepsis from his blood. He ended up having his toe amputated and has been in the hospital to treat the sepsis, infection, and now has been began fighting double pneumonia, fluid in his lungs, and as well as a possible septic vegetation on his heart.
