Jamie was diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia on Dec. 12th, 2012 after some routine blood work showed elevated platelets. Then in November of 2018 a subsequent bone marrow biopsy showed that he had Myelofibrosis grade 3. He will be undergoing a allogeneic stem cell transplant in August of 2019.
