Jamie’s Story

Site created on June 9, 2019

Jamie was diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia on Dec. 12th, 2012 after some routine blood work showed elevated platelets. Then in November of 2018 a subsequent bone marrow biopsy showed that he had Myelofibrosis grade 3. He will be undergoing a allogeneic stem cell transplant in August of 2019.  We will update this site as we can. Please keep him, his wife Alicia and their children in your prayers.

Journal entry by Jamie Lemburg

Bill's bell rung and we are home.....

Jamie's doctor told us this morning the cancer is gone.  Even the mutant JAK2 gene is gone.  Thank you dear Lord! His transplant was a success.
And Thank you to the donor whose selfless gift saved Jamie's life.  We will forever be so grateful for you...
