Hi - thanks for caring and being you.
This past month we got bad news. Charlotte was diagnosed with breast cancer. It sucks, its' not fair, and this was not supposed to be how our lives were going to go. I'm making this website for a few reasons - 1 So many people have expressed their concern and support - and really do want to be informed. 2. This has been an emotional rollercoaster and it is hard to have the same conversations over and over again. 3. Updating a website is a a lot easier than updating an entire contact list.
Up until now we haven't had a plan so we were trying to keep the circle of people in the know smaller - because well, everyone has a long list of questions and we didn't (and still don't have all the answers). But now we'll work to keep this site updated with some basic information (less is more). So check back here from time to time.
Right now when folks ask about ways they can help or support us - to be honest - we're not really sure yet. We may need help with dog walks, company during recovery, or even just a positive and loving text from time to time.
