The GREAT news is that CureSearch, LIVESTRONG and Alex’s Lemonade Stands have ALL written about the Petition on their websites! And TX Children’s and DUKE have both allowed us to setup paper versions inside the hospitals! WE ARE MAKING HEADWAY and are at over 11,000 signatures! But we need your help again. Megan, wow you are a strong, brave girl. My son Trystan was diagnosed spinal NB in 2003. He was 45 days at diagnosis. He is been currently in remission for 3 years. I am writing to tell you that trystan is also paralized in his left foot due to the tumor. He is also stright catherized every 3 hours with a cath in all night long to ensure drainage. He is also always constipated. Constipation brings on huge issues. Pain in his already paralyzed foot, stomach cramps, vomiting, when hes constipated its awful. Its taken over 3 years to figure out when hes constipated everything internally fails. I just wanted to let you know we are dealing with the same issues. Be positive, its what get us through the day. I am so glad that you won the school battle. As far as the special school-grrrrr. In my opinion, very few children need those and Megan is certainly NOT one of them. It's brilliant news to hear Megan is doing so well after her surgery!!

Some Doctors don't seem to know whether they are coming or going do they, I would of thought one of the important things is that they are all reading from the same page for after care ect...

Sorry to hear the school situation is still going on, I know what a pain it was trying to just FIND a secondary school for me, make sure you fight them all you can Beth, it's wrong they can't take Megan!

Congratulations on the clear scan again!!! It's fantastic news.
Jessie's results will be back next thursday so we are off to the GOSH again next week.
Good think you will be in the new building. They have great play rooms. I was amazed how much GOSH has changed since the last MRI 3 months ago. New dinosaurs ward, new MRI suite reception etc. It's getting better and more pleasurable to stay.
I would like to meet you mami next thurdsday and perhaps bring some little pressie for you to cheer you up after your surgery.
Please let me know if it's ok for us to pop in. Of course that depends on Megan's surgery and how she is but I will understand if you say no.

I'm happy to read that you're little girl is doing well. It has been a while since I've been on my Caringbridge site, life has been crazy busy here, but I found myself compelled to re-read some of my guestbook entries and clicked on the link you put in your message. I live my life firmly believing that everything happens for a reason...sometimes we get to know what it is and sometimes we don't. What really struck me in your journal entry was the date you get the results of the MRI, it is the same date that I will get the results of my PET. A recent chest x-ray and CT scan showed a spot in my left lung. Most likely metastatic breast cancer. I'm sitting here in limbo-land waiting for the news and the resulting course of action.

You and Megan are in my thoughts and in my heart and I pray that all goes well on the 26th.

I hope things are going ok for you and you are feeling lots better after your big operation.

You have not done an update so I am not real sure how things are for you.

Did you get your knew wheel chair?

How were all your scans, I am a bit worried about you but in my heart I know everything will be ok because you are a real fighter and brave little on.

I go to Secondary School year 7 on Wednesday here in Australia (yep our school holidays are nearly over) and I can't wait to go back to school.
