It's lovely to hear that you are recovering from your spinal surgery and your scoliosis has improved greatly. You are even 3 inches taller? Whow. I think Jessie is a little bit shorter because of her scoliosis.
I have been reading about your mami fighting for you. How clever and brave she is. You are a wonderful girl with an amazing and courtageous mami.
I hope Beth you win all your battles for Megan. It would be lovely if she could go to the same school with her brother. It's very important they stay together.

I know you do not "yet" know me, but I found your site from Jessica Magnus. I was reading the little thing you have about your story, and my heart sure broke on that one!! Hearing about a child being paraplegic doesn't really make me happy, but it sure makes me want to continue to check on you! I have a wheelchair as well, and so I am so sorry for you that you can't self-propel anymore. I know how much it stinks when you can't.... I can move my own wheelchair, but I have had a 'glimpse' of times when I had stuff in my hands, which I can't move by myself then, but I know for you it is probably 10 times harder then just having stuff in your hands. I have scholios also, and I know how horrible it just can be. I will be CHEERING MY VOICE OUT when your spinal jacket comes off!!! I will continue to check on you, and remember that you can do this, and you can make it. I KNOW you will, with the spirit you have!

My stay in hospital last week was one of the best ever. I got my own room and the food was lovely. None of that horrible normal hospital food. I hope you continue to get better.

I am truly sorry the surgery was postponed, I had come to check how things went and have been praying so hard since I was without a computer for a few days. May you rest in the knowledge that it WILL be done in God's time and for whatever reason it HAD to be done at a later date(I know that is easy for ME to say, looking for a bit of cheer in all of this...) DOCTORS NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER AND STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLES LIVES AND DO THE JOB THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO INSTEAD OF MAKING EXUSES ALL THE TIME.

Oh, I am so sorry that the hospital cancelled Megan's surgery. I have to say that it's not suprising me at all as we have been waiting for an appointment with Dr. Nordeen regarding Jessica's tumor eroding three of her vertebraes for 5 months and they said that we will only see registrar on the 27th of October. I am angry too and again it's time to complain. If you have a little bit of spare time you should contact the PALS at the hospital and do the same. They can't treat our children like this. Again, I am really sorry and I hope they will be able to operate on her very soon.

G'day MEGAN and family, this is Jay's Darlsy mum.
Jay went a way on CAMP QUALITY for one week so I am doing his visits for him - he told me I was not to miss MEGAN.
You are having your surgery on my birthday 29th September - we will be thinking of you lots little one. I had spinal surgery 8 weeks ago - I have titanium rods in my back and spinal fusion and bone graft from my hip - you are one tough little girl because I am lots older and I know how painful it is.
I hope you got the gift that Jay sent to you - if not it should be there soon.
I miss Jay when he is away so much and I know he misses me - he has only been gone for 3 hours and I miss him already.

Hi Beth and wee Megan what ajoy your site is and what gorgeoud pictures. If I e-mail you could you tell me how to do some of the bear stuff? I was reading and sympathising with so much of the hassle! It is a nightmare here getting anything we had to wait 9 months on Megan's chair and even then it came without the right cushions and back! I am still waiting even though I had a surgery date for them months ago. Megan's op needs her to recuperate and be positoned properly and I am back to pestering and having no luck.
