Thank you so much for visiting Christopher's web page. It's so nice to find some families in this area that are going through some of the same things that we are going through. It's so good to hear that Weston is in remission and what a cutie he is. This is a great website. My son loves Nemo and Elmo as well.
We will keep Weston in our prayers.

I was about to put a nasty note on here saying that a GOOD friend would update once a month! We are so glad that you are having a much better year than last year. Hey you guys I just wanted to say hi. Elisha and I are still here at Children's. Sometimes it seems like we will never leave here. The only thing that keeps me in possitive mood at times is the simple fact that things could be a-lot worse! I want to say that I think Weston is so very precious and I love making him laugh. Cheree you are always so sweet and thoughtful and I appreciate you so much for all the times you have called or come by to check on us. Having that support makes such a differnce even though it may not seem like it to you. You have so much on your plate and you still manage to show your love and concern and that means more than you'll ever know. Kristina is wonderful also! She is so mature for her age. I will indeed continue to pray for your sweet family.

Many Blessings,
Mary and Elisha

It was wonderful hearing the news about Logan, Peyton and Courtney! (Marni doesn't update too often these days)(ha ha). As always you are always in my prayers.

Hi Sherrie, Daryl, Weston, Colten, Kristina, and Heather!
First of all...thank you for sending me the link on Weston's update. Also, Happy Birthday...apparently to both Sherrie and Daryl! lol. What is the exact date of yours Sherrie? I am glad to hear that Weston is doing so well. I'm sorry he had the flu. I know that is hard on their little bodies, but glad he is getting better now. The pictures of him are so cute! Kristina is an amazing little girl. I am very glad to hear how well she is doing in school, and hope to hear her play that flute soon! I hope everyone is doing good.

Love,

Donna and I would love to see you get involved with CureSearch. We are going to DC this week and will get back to you after the trip. Plan to go to DC June 13-15 2005 for Gold Ribbons Days. We need to get as many families from Texas as we can. Our children are gifts from God and they need to be first in our life and in DC. Last year Donna and I were the only two from Texas. SAD!!!! Hey Sherrie, I tried to call, but couldn't get through. I've been thinking about you all day today (oops, okay it's officially Friday now...but you know what I mean!) I hope the 20th came and went and you felt nothing but the blessings that this year is so much better than what last year brought you and Daryl--and that you remember God and His amazing faithfulness are the reason. I just wanted you to know I remembered, I prayed, and I rejoiced at where we are now and how good that feels!! I love you all.

Hi guys. You know I love nothing more than calling or seeing you guys and hearing how well Weston is doing, but in the last few days to hear about how God is pulling the whole family into church has been as much of a blessing to hear than anything else! We've prayed for such news as much as we have for Weston's health.

Give the boys and girls kisses from us and tell Kristina we hope she gets better very soon.

Oh yeah! I told Marcie this, but Dane's parents bought a lake house in Granbury. It's HUGE and is right on the water. Granny would love for all of us to come visit (which is why they bought such a big place!) so come springtime, can you guys say "Weekend party at Granny and Rocky's!!" Peyton is excited about being near Logan when we go see the grandparents. And to add to the excitement, I told Peyton I just realized how close you guys live to Courtney, so she's beside herself at having her buddies strategically located near each other so she can do multiple visits when she wants too. Now we just need to get Grif moved near one of us :)

Love you guys so much.

Yea! Weston! You are great! God is great! Woo-hoo! I am soooooo glad to see you back at church and playing with the other kiddos where you belong! Sherrie, I am sure you are relishing this time without so much worrying and running from clinic to clinic... It's good to see you with a smile on your face again!

Hey, Hey, my little man!!!! NED---Those have to be the 3 best letters of the alphabet right now! What wonderful news. What's even better, is knowing our prayers have been answered. God is Good!!! Don't worry though, I'm not done praying--I will continue to ask God to keep you in his care each and every day. I'm betting you haven't missed not going to the doctor or hospital. I'm sure mommy had no trouble finding something to fill that time with! I'm thinking cleaning house, washing dishes, washing clothes, and scrubbing floors, even though not much fun, is much, much better than making trips to the doctor or hospital. Right Sherrie?!?! Aw Heck-just sit down, put your feet up and relax, you deserve it!!
Well Little Buddy---You have the best time being a little brother and keep bothering those big sisters, but not too much. You and Colton have a good time playing and being together.
Till Next Time................

Hey little buddy!! Just checking in to see how things are going. Yesterday I got a package back that I mailed to you while you were in the hospital. I am not sure why it it didn't get to you and got sent back to me. I feel so bad. You probably thought I forgot about you, but I really didn't. I had no idea you weren't gonna get that package. First thing tomorrow morning it is going back in the mail with your home address on it. I am so sorry. I hope that doesn't ever happen again. Tell mommy those things with lines happen. I did the same thing to one of my boys. A few years ago Jordan had a pic line in his arm, and when he took off his sweatshirt the line was tangled in it, and off came the sweatshirt and line along with it. I am so proud of you for being so brave when they poked your finger. You hang in there my little man and stay healthy and strong. My thoughts and prayers are with you each day!

Hey Weston. Well believe it or not, but Nanie just got home from church. No, it's not a joke.(I went last Sunday too.) You know that I told you that I have been staying with Mary and Charles Lindsey in Terrell till my apartment gets ready. Mary owns the shop where I work now. (I wish I would have left the other one when she did.) But anyway, she had told me awhile back about this really cool place in Kaufman where her and Charles go to church. She also told me that Charles plays the bass guitar there and they had this really cool guy for a preacher and that everybody there really cares for one another. Well, they had to twist my arm a little to get me to go, but I did. And you know what? She was right! I did enjoy it and today I asked Pastor Gregg to let everybody know to say an extra little prayer just for you. I know that Mommy and Daddy already has the church where you go praying for you but you know what they say? You've got to have at least 50 hugs a day to make you feel good, but you never have too many people praying for you. The other day this guy came in the shop and he told me that there was a man that comes to his study group on Friday's that asked for prayers for you.I think you are becomming quite a little celeberity. I already know you are a Star! Just hearing all this and seeing all the people signing your guessbook, people that has never even laid eyes on you are taking time to write you a little note, just to let you know they are praying for you. It really has amazed me! You just keep on getting better and just maybe YOU are going to be the miracle that I have been asking for. Check in on ya later.I love you and your family so much! Give Mommy and Daddy a kiss for me..Later...Nanie

Hey Little Buddy!!! I am glad the transplant went well. Those darn mouth sores, hopefully the medicine will help. You keep resting and get stronger each day, so soon you can be home with the rest of your family. The baby picture mommy had posted was so cute. You reminded me of my boys when they were babies. They had that much if not more black hair, and now they are both blonde kindof light brown. You are in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy feel better soon. Hang in there my little man and tell mommy I'm thinking about her--remember--one day at a time!

To all of my friends
where ever you may be
some are close by
and others far away across the ocean
we may not speak the same langauge
but in our hearts we understand
We fight the same fight
for this precious treasure called life
We are determined to be brave
even in the face of dire circumstances
We are there for each other
holding each other close
even if only in our hearts
the love and the strength we give
is stronger then any
We are bound by these ties
of circumstance
of fate
I pray that your days be filled
with remembering the simply things
a sunrise
the way the wind blows across your skin
a smile, a hug, a simple word of comfort
I cannot make it go away
but I pray that for that moment
it fades
and a rainbow peeks through
to let you know
You are prayed for, thought about, and loved much today

Hey Weston, just checked your update.I have to check to see what Mommy writes because your Daddy doesn't always tell Nanie the whole story. I know that he just doesn't want me to worry so much, but I do! But that's what grandparents are for.We worry so that Mommy and Daddy can think of the other things that you need.We pray too.And I'm so thankful that all of our prayers are working for you.Hang in there and keep up the good work, like bothering your doctors and nurses.
P.S. If you are wondering who Charles and Mary Lindsey are that signed your book yesterday, they are the wonderful people that Nanie is staying with right now till my apartment is ready.

Hi Weston and family, I found your site in Kaitlyn's site she resides in Western Australia, there were so many names in there, i chose yours because my eldest son's name is Wesley, and your name sounds a bit like his. You sure are one cuttie and a very brave little boy and have been through so much already, but praise God, his hand is upon you and i also pray that God will continue to release His healing touch upon you in body, mind and spirit. May God give your family strength for each new day, and may you all know the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit. I will be printing out your photo and putting it on our fridge along with Kaitlyn's, who is my Buddy, I am her Chemo Angel, she is a little sweetie also. Do you have a Chemo Angel? If mum gets time perhaps she could email me and let me know if she would be interested in having a Chemo Angel for you, the are wonderful people who get assigned a buddy and we send you cards and gifts. Last month they had an article in your People's magazine on Chemo Angels. Hope you have a really blessed day Weston filled with love and laughter, remember Jesus loves you soooooooooooooooooo much and He holds you in the palm of His hand. Sherrie,
Words cannot express how much my heart goes out to you right now. As much as you think that we are an inspiration for you, you are very much an inspiration for the rest of us. As easy as it would be to give up or give in, that would be the easy road. Travel the road less traveled. I admire your strength and encouragement. Sometimes we don't understand where this will all take us or why we have to go through yucky stuff. God will show you the answer somewhere down the road later on. I look back at us a few years ago and remember us being "new" Christians at Mops, trying very hard to believe that life was going to be okay. Look at how much you have "grown" in your walk with the Lord!! Hang in there girlfriend!! There are roses waiting for you at the end of this road less traveled. I just know there are. I love you and your family very much and admire you more than I can express in words. Stay strong in your belief because you are being "carried" through the sand right now. We are all praying for you and Weston.
Lots of Love to you!

Weston: Hey big boy, what wonderful news that you and Mom might get to go home next week. I know time with Dad and Colton and the girls is just what you and Mom need right now. Marni and Dane and Lindsay are going to camp next week, so Aunt Stephanie and Gramps and I will have Peyton for the week. Pey has to come to clinic Monday, so maybe I can come and visit with you and Mommy for a while. Is there something you or Mom just absolutely need that only a Grammy could get? I don't get to buy things for big boys very often, so it would be a real treat for me. Perhaps Mommy could email me or call me and tell me what Gramps and I could send or bring you. Gramps and I pray for you each night, and yours and Pey's sweet faces are the last things I think about each night. See you soon--do your therapy so you can stay strong. I love it when I see you and you are nothing but a blur because you are running so fast!!! Much love, Peyton's Grammy

Hi Weston. I had clinic today and REALLY wanted to come see you, but AGAIN, my mom said "No". She said I'm not old enough to come onto the BMT hall. I tried to tell her (actually I told her in a tone that suggested she's the slowest-witted person I know) that it's perfectly okay for me to go into the BMT hall because I STAYED there for 5 days when I had my last treament. She said I may have germs and can't go in your room or you could get sick. Every time she says that, I get soooo mad and go stomping off...

Mom told me you should be out of the hospital next week and as soon as your counts are higher, I can see you. I have been worried about you and I say prayers for you every night, and sometimes I just stop my mom while she's working around the house and tell her we need to sit down and pray for you. Mom tells me that I worry only because I don't get to see you like everyone else does, so mom helped me type this so you would know that I think about you all the time and talk about you to anyone who will listen. I feel better now and am not worried that mom is holding out on me. I love you. I hope your counts go up fast.

Since you haven't felt like eating much, I've been eating all of your favorite things for you, and then some! I love goldfish and fun fruits, and honey nut cheerios is one of my favorite cereals, but I also like Lucky Charms and Frosted Flakes! I just really like all food in general! Sherrie--All you can do is take things day by day, hour by hour, etc. I know the feeling of being low on patience. We just have to put our trust in God, and he will help us through each day. Nobody is perfect everyday, and we can only do our best. Some situations are just a little more trying than others. Hello to the Teel Family, especially to my buddy Weston. This is Angel Linda from NE checking in on you. Sherry, he is the most adoreable little man! I have printed every picture of him that I possibly can from this site, and they are all pinned and taped on the desk here by my computer. I see and think of Weston everyday. Along with my thoughts, goes a prayer. Looking at his picture makes me just wish I could hug him in person. It is great to have a face to put with my thoughts! Becoming Weston's ChemoAngel, is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Without ever seeing him or I talking to him, I can't tell you how much LOVE I have for him and his family. I pray each day for Weston's health and that God keep you strong. Thank You for allowing me to be Weston's Angel. I truly feel I am the lucky one!

Luv & Hugs

Stay strong little man and as Logan would say, keep swingin' for the fences!

What's Up Weston! You get to see all of the pretty nurses every day this week! Logan is so jealous. He has learned to flirt by all of those girls! You gotta watch them, or they might fall in love with that cute smile of yours! Logan will be in clinic on Wednesday, so we REALLY hope that we will get to FINALLY meet you! Now all we need is Peyton, and we would have a reunion of the Three Amigos. Keep your chin up cowboy, and we will see you soon!
