Teresa was such an inspiration of hope and a beacon of light in our family's lives. The strength that we endure is because of the legacy of love Teresa left us. Everyday of our lives we will think of her, miss her and continued to hope in her honor. She was truly a gift from God and He comforts us. Through Christ Jesus we are uplifted.

Teresa's forever inspired aunt,
Lisa

I knew Teresa from Camp Discovery, I was her counselor for a couple of years. I have many fond memories of Teresa- her quick wit, big smile, and her sense of humor to name only a few. I feel so lucky to have known such a great kid. I am saddened to hear of her passing. I send you my sincerest condolences.

Rhonda,
I will be the first to sign your petition for getting rid of the month of March. Ryan was diagnosed in March too and he had a 4 day hospital admission after we returned home from NYC for c-diff in March. I'm sure April will be a better month. Spring and Easter are here - rebirth and renewal. Maybe you can bribe Teresa to eat with a dog!! I hope she feels better soon and you can all be home together. Happy Easter.

So glad to see that your treatment is going well without some of the effects you experienced previously. Hi there, I have a close friend whose son has just been diagnosed with neoroblastoma. Like you said back in 2004, the reviews I read on the internet made me weak at the knees.. but your journal entries have shown us hope. As we continue to depend only on God's grace and aspire to use every circumstance to bring Him glory, just want you to know that your thoughts and writings have brought renewed hope to us. We will be adding Theresa to our prayer list. God Bless You.

Hi Montgomery family!

Well, I had a wonderful time at camp (Arts and Crafts Staff) with Teresa! What a lover she was. I think she gave out more hugs than anyone other "yellow girl."

As for Whoopi--she is partially right. On our skit night, we had an incredible Whoopi look alike as our emcee. We didn't tell the kids she was a look alike, and let me tell you--if they hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known either!! She looked, dressed, and especially sounded like her. She had all her mannerisms. So, yes, I guess Teresa is right in telling you Whoopi was there.

Things are going well for Andrew and me. We are coming up on our one year anniversary of Allie's passing, but we are also preparing for our new baby Maggie to come in October. We think of you all often and hope you are doing well.

Lots of love,
Jenny Scott

Hi Rhonda, John, Theresa and Jasmine,
I am so glad to see that the year's events have not put a damper on the Summer fun. I will pray for Theresa and all of you that she has a clear scan. It will be a great day when the mediport can be removed. I know it's mainly psychological, but it will be so nice to have it gone from your life. I check in often and hope to read more about your job decisions and the girls' days at school. Ah, back to normal. Hopefully you are feeling well too Rhonda.
Best wishes for a clear scan and future!

Hi Rhonda & Theresa,
Please know that a group of Anderson moms meet every Wednesday morning and pray specifically for Theresa,as well as for Anderson students and staff. We are praying for the miracle of healing in Theresa's body. We know that God is faith to provide what you need. We can't wait to have Theresa back at school and hope that she gets to spend her birthday at home. I see Jasmine at lunch several days a week and she is doing fabulous. She did say she misses having her mom at home, but is glad that you are there for Theresa. What a wonderful day it will be to be together as a family.
Hugs & Prayers!

Hello sweet girl,
I am so glad to hear that you and Jasmine are doing so well and are in good spirits. Don't give your homebound teacher too much trouble, remember, she is their to help you until you can go back to school. I was thinking about you and I remembered a funny little story. It was around Christmas 1999, so you were about 3 yrs. old. Jasmine was participating in the Christmas services at the church. Your mom took her to the church early, so you and your dad came over to Aunt Tina's house to pick us up. Your dad asked me to wash your face, so you and I went into the bathroom. After I wiped your face, we looked into the mirror and I said "look at that pretty girl!" you started giggling and said "you're a pretty girl". You always knew how to make me feel good! Everytime I hear that you are feeling better and better, makes me feel great!!! I love you pretty girl!!!!

Love,
Aunt Felicia

Rhonda, I feel very privilaged to know that the new homeboud teacher had a difficult time warming up to Teresa, but I'm afraid that she'll be sad to change back to me when the time comes. I'm so glad to hear that her counts are up and that Jasmine is going back to school so soon. There's always stregth from all the prayers.... My cousin's son (4) received cancer free from brain, kidney and liver tumors after 5 rounds of cheom. He will have 5 more to be safe, but we will keep praying for your family and the family of Alli Scott. Many families have been inspired by the strength, love, and support your family has shown. I'm blessed to have the oppertunity to work with you and Teresa. She is soo special to me and I can't wait to see her as a teacher or just to say have a great day today at home, or school. Please take care of each other and know so many people will be praying for you.

Teresa and the entire Montgomery family is in my prayers. I know that God is Jehovah Rapha, a healer, and that he did not bring Teresa this far to leave her. He promises us in his word "I will heal your wounds and restore you to health," and since he says "I can't lie," we know that his Word is truth. Keep reminding God of his promises to those whose walk is upright and watch miracles happen. Teresa is a blessed and beautiful young lady.

Hey Teresa and family! I was reading John's letter about how Teresa would touch a lot of souls in her lifetime. I just wanted to let you know that she has been a light for me already. I have read and watched how she and the rest of the family maintain your faith and try to uplift others by adding scripture and never forgetting who is always in control. You show an amount of faith that is inspiring and have definately made an impact on my own faith. Teresa, Elese` wants to let you know that she has been practicing playing UNO. She is trying to get as good as you, so that next time you guys play she has a chance at winning! Do you think she can ever get that good??
You are in my prayers every day and I can't wait to see you beautiful smile!

Jasmine,

I remember when you were in my Sunday school class a few years ago and you were always obedient and kind. I always felt like I could count on you to be my little helper when I needed one. I never could have imagined then that you would be such a great helper and the giver of such a precious gift to your sister. I hope that you will always remember that the way you are helping Teresa is so much like how Jesus helped us…He gave his blood to help us live! Not everyone gets the chance to be such a big “rescuer” and “savior!” I am praying for you and Teresa!

Teresa

Although I do not think that you believed me on Sunday, Teresa, you are beautiful, inside and outside. Your eyes are big and lovely and your smile, when you let it show, warms my heart. There are two other very beautiful things about you. One is your humor. I still laugh when I think about you telling me to rub your stinky feet if I lost to you at checkers and that comment about 3 lefts making a right is great! Another beautiful thing about you is your courage. I have seen few adults who have been as strong as I have seen you be these past few months. You (7 years old) encourage me (34 years old)! I am praying for you and Jasmine!

You know every guestbook entry you have is a blessing and a prayer toward your full and speedy recovery. With so many guestbook entries, you are a lucky girl to have so many praying for you and blessing your recovery, including me. I met your Aunt Felicia and I work in the Houston branch of Texas Woman's University, so prayers for your recovery are coming in from everywhere for you! I liked your photos, especially the one with the dog and cat.

Hi Teresa,
I enjoy reading about how you are doing! Give me five ... thousand push ups! That's pretty good! I hope that 2nd grade is fun! Seems to me like I enjoyed 2nd grade quite a bit (I remember it as being easier than first and easier than third grade also.) But my third grade teacher was really neat because she read to us from Winnie The Pooh! All for now, Your friend through your Aunt Felicia,

Hi Teresa, I am so glad that you are able to go to school before the transplant. It sounds like you are a very smart little girl and funny, too. I enjoy reading the stories that your mom puts on the website. How is your dog, Megan doing? I love Build a Bear. My niece and I have made a dog, and two bears. I will have to see if I can find some clothes for your dog that I can send to you. I would think she could use some outfits! Say hello to Jasmine and your mom and dad for me. Good afternoon Teresa, today was the first time I became aware of your Webpage. Your mother did a wonderful job in putting this together. Now we can all stay informed on your progress without having to interrupt you or your mom and dad while they are busy taking care of things.
I read the Webpage from bottom to top, viewed your photos and viewied the guest book. Let me tell you that you are loved as evidenced by all the wonderful words of encouragement and prayers that are being offered up on your behalf. I continue to pray many times during the day because I think of you many times during the day everyday.
Each time that I pray I am filled with the power of God's grace and love. I know with each day that He Is Healing You while bringing us all closer to his love and glory.
Teresa here's a big hug and kiss filled with love for you and your family coming to you all the way from Arizona from your cousins Erica and Jimmy and your aunt Lorena and me (Uncle Douglas).

for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

names applied to Our Heavenly Father. In fact, He is called "Yaweh Rapha" (The LORD who heals you).
Teresa, it is a good thing to know and believe that we are all under his ever Watchful Eye. He cares for your Mom, Dad and big sister and He will take good care of you and us. He will give you strength. So, keep smilling. We love you and prasise God in your behalf.
