Hello to everyone out there who is going to read this.

Lances viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Teusday At Alpine funeral home 2300 Sylvania, Fort Worth Texas
Funeral Services well be held graveside Wednesday at 2 pm at Mount Olivet it is directly across the street from Alpine.
All Flowers and donations need to be sent to Alpine Funeral Home.

I am very saddened right now to tell you all that my hansom young man has gained/earned his angel wings yesterday at 8:32 pm. he left this world with his dad and I holding him together, and his brother and sisters, and all his aunts, uncles and cousins were standing around his bed.
I hurt on so many different levels right now that i can not begin to explain my thoughts and feelings. But i do know that my son is cancer free, and is in no more pain. my selfishness of wanting to keep him here with me was ok, but my unselfishness of telling him that it was ok to go with Jesus did not mean i was giving up on him, but saying it was ok to not hurt anymore, and to be with no more cancer.
My son told me this past week, "mommy i know how much you love a good thunderstorm, when i am gone, i will be the sun on your face, the brightest star in the sky, but when you recieve that thunderstorm that will be my gift to you". As we were driving home from making the funeral arrangements today, we noticed that the sky was getting a little dark. well here in saginaw texas it has not rained a drop in over a month, hot is what it has been. well as we pulled up in front of my house today the thunder and rain came out of nowhere and showered me. i stood in the rain for i know at least 30 minutes, and i was not even cold, i felt held, and loved. my son let me know that he was ok, and that our bond is something that will never be broken. there were at least 20 people here today to experience this with me and it had to of been one of the most amazing moments in my life.

Thank you all for the support and love throughout this time in our lives.

Krista Lynes-Jamison
mom to Lance Fowler-Jamison 8/6/91 to 9/10/2005 dx with NB stage IV, high risk on 3/14/04. underwent 7 rounds of chemo, multiple surgeries, tumor removal, stem cell transplant, radiation, accutane, and then 1 round of cyto/topo, and 1/2 round of irinitecan, placed on hospice 8/16/05. also the mother of three more wonderful children Forrest, Kasha, and Kyla Fowler -Jamison.

I know i have not updated this page in many days now, but i would like to inform everyone of lance's condition.
I pray everyday for lance, being his mom it has been so hard to understand why this is happening.
Lance has been on hospice care 24 hours a day now for the past few days. Lance's tumors have spread throughout his body, his brain is being effected by multiple tumors. he has been in severe pain and they say he is going to gain his angel wings soon. how is a mother supposed to accept this. i love my son with all my heart, but it is breaking very fast. my other children are up in arms with all this and yet they are staying so strong for him, and they love him so very much. his little brother just adores him, they are only 18 months apart, and very close as best friends, and brothers. my son has a lot of fight in him but he says now he is tired, and he has made peace, and knows that heaven is going to be a beautiful place. i will never let go of my son i want to hold him in my arms forever.
I want to thank everyone for all the support and love he has recieved.

Thank You,
Danny, Porsha, Tyler, Trevin, Kenneth, Cassie, Kristen, Justin, Robert, Kelly, Julie, Allie, Katie, Lexi. and all the many friends from Wayside Middle School, and Bryson Elementary. Without all of you we would all be so lost.
And Thank you Kidd Kraddick and the morning show, Big Al, Kelly, Shannon, Rich you made his day yesterday. i love you guys all so much.

Lance has relapsed, he has tumor in shoulders, both arms, right hip, right femur bone, right growth plate in foot, upper chest cavity, and one in the right front temporal lobe in his head, and one in the back right part of his head. Lance is on chemo again, they will give him cytoxen/topotecan for an hour a day for five days once a month. he will be starting round 2 at the beginning of next week.

Lance is very strong and courageous, and is taking this better than i am. He is my HERO.

Hello everyone, this update is going to be a bit different. i want to wrote to my son, but i want everyone to read it for no particular reason other than i want everyone to feel how i feel right now.

Dear Lance,

I just wanted to express to you how so very proud i am of you. you graduated the 8th grade with honors. i was blessed with the day of watching you cross that stage and not just recieve a diploma, but the presidential award, the principals award and outstanding achievement in honor band for playing your trumpet. Lance my heart is breaking because i feel as though i have let you down. i told you everything was going to be alright. i never break promises and you know that, but this was one that i had no control over. i have watched you in this last year grown into such a young man that i am so so very proud of. you have so much integrity about you, and maturity that i wonder where it came from. the day the docs told me you had cancer my life fell apart, then with your courage and faith i put myself back together. and now here we are back to where we started. i fell apart for a minute, it is ok to cry, be mad, be whatever you feel. i am very sad, i want to snap and make it all go away, then you told me. "Mom, i know what i am up against, it is not going to be easy, we are going to cry, and there will still be happy times, but mom we will do this together." Lance i do not know how you became so smart, and strong and courageous, but i sincerely admire you. and i just wanted to let you know one promise i will never break in all my life. i will be here no matter what, when you turn around you will see me. if you do not see me you will know by the wind that i am here. if it were not for you, forrest, kasha, and kyla, i would not know how to be a parent, and i thank you for trusting me enough to care for you and love you. i am glad you chose me to be your mother, i could never have asked for anything more special than what i have in my heart that you gave me. do not ever forget to open your arms wide when you think of how much i so deeply love you. i am here no matter what.

Love,
Mom

I just wanted to let everyone know that Lance has had a major relapse. back in february the doctors were so sure it was the accutane that they looked no further. now it is in his skull, right hip, left arm, shoulder blades, right femur bone, growth plate on right foot, and back in the bone marrow. we are very deep in the woods right now, and in order for us to get back we need prayer, love, faith, and family. i am scared out of my mind, but i will make everything the best i can for my son. they are scheduling to start lance back on chemo on the 13th, please God, hear my prayer. my son is a good kid, he has always been someone i am proud of. he does what he is supposed to do, and does it till he masters it. he is wanting to run cross country God, please i pray, let him be able to do that.

thank you all,
everyone we love

Hey everyone out there in internet land, this is lance's mom once again.

lance is doing really well at the moment. he is still having his leg pain, and the dryness of his body due to the accutane, but he is doing well.

lance has been going to regular school everyday, the whole day. the side effects of the accutane are starting to kick in so he is home today with pain management.

he is back though, lance has been put back on the running team, and yes the football team will be getting him back in the fall, for 9th grade. lance has been working out tryig to get back in to shape and i think he is doing great at it. he jumped in really quick when he noticed that i was not going to let him sit around and do nothing all day.

lance is improving on his attitude towards others, and is starting to believe that remission is real.

i want to thank some very special people in OUR lives.

danny, porsha tyler trevin you guys have been great to us through this all and even though remission is here we still need ya, and we love ya very much.

TAKE CARE ALL,

KRISTA AND LANCE

Monday, March 21, 2005 10:19 AM CST

HELLO EVERYONE
I know it has been forever since i have updated this page, but there has been a vast amount of stuff going on here.

The last week of january i took lance to the hospital, he could not walk, and was having severe pain in his left leg and left arm, and he was having really bad headaches.
well they sent him home on pain meds, i was very upset that no labs or scans were to be done.
i talked to the doc the following day and told him that i wanted labs and scans done now. well i was told to bring him to the clinic and we would start.
well i got lance to the clinic, they did blood work on him and decided they needed to admit him due to his kidneys not filtering. ( lance had not been able to use the rr for almost a week at this point). Lance had also lost 13 pounds at this time. was extremely dehydrated also. On top of all that his blood pressure was so high that they started meds on him to get it down, it took almost three days for that to happen.
well they did the bone scan, and it showed that his face, shoulders, numbers 8 and 11 on left and right of ribs, left leg, left arm, and right foot plate, bladder and spine all showed uptake. the following thursday they did the MIBG bone scan, the same it all lit up, they also did bone marrow bx, and bone bx, it showed on the left side that there was something called ganglioma, they sent it off to california to seegers lab. on Valentines day the docs sat down with myself, dad, and aunt. we were told that this was horribly bad, and the doc was very nervous. if this was progressive disease it was worse than the actual diagnosis.
Well the doc decided to do what they call a PET scan to pinpoint the bulk and exactly where the tumors were.
Only a week had passed, we did the PET scan, and it takes 48-72 hours to get the results back. I at the moment am so freaked out i can not think straight.
we had an appt with the docs the following thursday to get all the results.

The docs sat us down and told us that the bone scan, the mibg, were both wrong. (two test that i completely have faith in were wrong) The PET scan was completely clean, nothing there, and to top it all off, the bone marrow that showed ganglioma, was also clean. They said it was all the accutane that caused it all to light up.

I was taken from one extreme to the next that i am so confused with all this, but lance is doing great, still having the leg pain, and he is having severe anxiety attacks.

I want to thank everyone who has helped us through all this.
DANNY,PORSHA,KENNY,KELLY,CASSIE,JULIE, ALL THE TEACHERS AT WAYSIDE, AND BRYSON ELEMENTARY.

TO EVERYONE OUT THERE

REMISSION IS SOMETHING I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD HEAR BUT I HAVE HEARD IT NOW, TODAY WE START LIVING AND TAKE IT WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT.

I LOVE YOU ALL
KRISTA LYNES JAMISON

Hey everyone out there, i know i have had a hard time keeping this updated, but here in my house there is always something going on.

well lance is really hating the accutane, and me i am not liking the attitude that comes along with it. along with him being a teenager, and the effects of the accutane, i am really pulling my hair out.
lance has been having severe bone pain, low grade fevers, and he has lost his appetite. lance has lost approximately 13 pounds in the last week and a half, but as usual the docs here in fort worth do not seem to be concerned.
lance is a fighter and i know somehow, someway he is going to conquer and win this battle.
lance has new scans, and bone marrow asp. and bone marrow biopsy on 2-8-05, he has MIBG on 2-10-05, and we will have those results back on 2-14-05.

i just wanted to let everyone know that we as a family can do anything we put our minds to. alone we can do nothing. i thank god for my family everyday, without them i would be lost. i thank god for carrying me through this rough spot on my life. i know we have to take the bad along with the good, but we are really thankful that no matter what god has kept me with my family.

i love you all, and i ask to keep lance in your prayers.

krista mother to
lance dx 3-14-04, in tx now, undergone 7 rounds of chemo, surgery to remove adrenal tumor, stem cell transplant, and now the accutane. he is my warrior
forrest, 12 today, catherine, 12, kasha, 11, kyla 8 and wife to the wonderful man dease who puts up with just about anything.
and to all my brothers and sisters out there in the NB world you all are in our prayers

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to do some updating on lance, and to let you know dreams and wishes do come true.
Lance just returned along with me, his dad,and brothers and sisters from 9 days of pure memory making, dream making fun. Lance's wish was to go where the beaches were white, water was blue and he could swim with the sting rays, well that is exactly where he went.
He started off on New Years Eve, we left for Miami.
In Miami i wanted to make sure Lance came in to the new year with a bang. so as we stayed in the Raddison hotel in downtown miami on biscayne bay. (beautiful) New years eve we swept lance away from the hotel in a white stretch limo to go eat a 5 star restauraunt called Paesano's. Very very elegant dining. they had lobster, shrimp, and every other type of seafood you can think of. We returned to the hotel just in time to watch the firework display, and due to the fact we were on the 16th floor of this hotel we were able to see all of miami's fireworks show across the entire skyline, wow it was amazing.
Lance and the rest of us left to get on the ship on sunday the 3rd. as we arrived there we saw 7 ships, 5 little, and 2 humongous, gigantic, very very large ships ( get the idea) we were not exactly sure, but did not think that the biggest one there just so happened to be ours. it was though. Navigator of the seas. 15 decks, but most important of all a VERY VERY VERY VERY LARGE GAME ROOM WITH EVERY GAME YOU COULD THINK OF IN IT. Lance was treated like royalty, they delivered goodies to his room every day, and they announced him to all. The captain (rick sullivan) was an amazing person. we found out by being able to have the pleasure of sitting at his table for dinner. That is not something everyone can do. he has dinner there twice, the first time is with his officers and his family. and people pay to sit with him on the second day. but he chose to have lance and us sit with him.. it was amazingly wonderful
Lance went to San Jaun Peurto Rico, St. Thomas Virgin Islands, where he went in a submarine ride through the most beautiful coral reefs you could see, and we had two sharks come up to the sub windows, lol was kinda scary, but so so cool. Then he went to Nassau Bahamas, where his wish came true, Not only did he swim with the stingrays, he had an official actually name a stingray in honor of lance, the stingrays name, "LANCE" he was very excited about that. I just wanted all to know that lance was having some problems with his legs in the beginning i think it was due to the high dose of accutane causing bone pain, but he did it.
LANCE'S WISH CAME TRUE.
And i want you all to know that mine, his dads, and the rest of the kids had a pretty awesome time ourselves.

Thank you to all,
and just remember wishes can and do come true.

We love you all,

Hello all and Happy Holidays,

I know it has been a very long time since i have updated this but i was waiting for all his scans and reevaluation to be finished, and also the randomization.
Well ct scans are negative, bone marrow and bone biopsy are both negative.
MIBG on the other hand told us another story. Back on August 30, exactly one week before transplant, the docs had found that a spot on his spine was lighting up (lumbar 3 vertabra) well the docs said they were not going to concern themselves with it due to the fact that he was about to recieve 5 days of very high dose chemo and it would most likely go in and destroy that spot. Well it didn't. This past friday the spot was still there, but now on his lumbar 2 vertabra. All the docs talked and have come to the conclusion that it is inoperable. if they were to go in and even try to biopsy it because of where it is at it would cause his spine to collapse and we are not to sure what we can actually do with this at this time. Lance was randomized on Friday also for this new protocol. it was either chemo and acutane for 6 months or just acutane alone. well lance is doing acutane alone. i am not to sure how to feel about this. i did not want him to go through all the sickness of chemo again but i really honestly want this darn tumor in his spine to just go away. Lance has been quite upset for the past few days about this. he is not sure how to feel either.
I am so mixed up and confused with this whole cancer that i really just do not know how to feel, think, or even act. i hate hate hate hate hate cancer with all my heart.
I know lance is a fighter and he will fight with all his might and he is not a quitter. lance has never given up on a challenge ever, it is just that this is the biggest challenge ever.
I love my children and my family so much that i need all of them.
My family has been so strong with all this and i personally want to say thank you to al:
Danny and Porsha
Kenneth and Cassie
Kelly and Julie
and all the kids that are a part of this big growing family.
tyler, trevin, robert, justin, kristen, lexi, katy k., katy, ally. And my mother LeFan.
and i do not want to leave out the F-troop
Forrest,Kasha,Kyla,Catherine you are all the love of my life and to the young man himself
KEVIN LANCE FOWLER I LOVE YA MAN, YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION NOT ONLY TO ME BUT TO ALL WHO KNOW YOU, YOU ARE FIGHTIN THE FIGHT AND I KNOW YOU WILL WIN THIS BATTLE AND DESTROY THIS MONSTER THEY CALL CANCER.

TO ALL I LOVE YOU AND I APPRECIATE YOU ALL

KRISTA LYNES JAMISON
AND TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND DEASE I COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YA. THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL.

Friday, October 22, 2004 7:38 AM CDT

Hello everyone, this is an update. I am sorry it has taken me so long to update, but there has been some problems with it not letting me.

Anyway, Lance is here at home again. he has been home for one week.
On Monday the 18 Lance started a long week of testing and more testing. He had counts checked on Monday, then on Teusday he had CT scans, bone scans, echo, and audiology. The CT scans and bone scans showed no new tumor growth. Lance was supposed to have an MIBG bone scan also this week but they never wrote the orders for his SSKI drops to protect his thyroid, so that was put off. On Wednesday Lance had the day off other than he had his school teachers come over for his schooling. On Thursday Lance had clinic appointment. they had to access his port for the second time. He did great once again. I almost passed out the first time they accessed him. They had to use a 19 gauge needle to put in his chest. it was not a pretty site.
Also on thursday I had to take Lance to meet with the Radiation Dr. (Dr. Nielson) Lance will be starting radiation on Monday at 10:15, he will do that for 12 days. Once his radiation is finished he will have to do a bone marrow aspiration, and bone biopsy on his back. They were supposed to do that yesterday in the clinic, but we felt there was no reason to do it then and then turn around and put him through that again in 2 weeks.
This new study will randomize lance to either doing Acutane alone, or acutane with immunotherapies. I will let everyone know how everything goes.

Everyone else is doing great here, we are trying to get back to some form of normalcy here in our house, but it is kind of difficult. I see everyone trying so hard to make things as great as possible. I have wonderful kids who are so resilient to so many different things. I am very proud of them for that.

I just want to thank each and everyone of you who keep updated on lance, and pray for him.

WE THANK YOU ALL SO SO VERY MUCH.

THANKS DANNY FOR TAKING LANCE TO GET THAT STEAK HE HAD BEEN WANTING FOR SO LONG, AND HE LOVED JUST BEING WITH YOU IT WAS REALLY GREAT LISTENING TO HIM TALK ALL ABOUT IT. (EVEN THE SALAD).

THANK YOU FOR BEING HIS UNCLE AND MY BROTHER. WE LOVE YOU

Krista,

Lance's mom

Hey all,

This is just an update

Lance has been home for one week today. We had a long week. I took Lance to the E.R. on Wednesday due to him being stick at his stomach, and he is having some problems with his legs. they looked at his counts but did not transfuse till Thursday. His wbc is not coming up very fast on their own. His platelets are staying at a standstill for some reason they do not want to come up so he is getting platelets. His Red Blood Cells just seem to have a mind of their own also. They come up after transfusion then go right back down so he will also be getting red blood cells till they can maintain on there own.
I have been doing all Lance's IVs here at home, pretty soon i think i will be able to be a nurse LOL LOL. Well i just want to let everyone know that he is doing ok, and will be starting radiation on day 49 ( we are at day 30 now).

Lance is a very strong kid, and he has the determination and strength of a million man army.
Keep the prayers coming, we appreciate them all.

Thank you to all
Danny, Porsha, Kenny, Kelly, and all Lance's Peers from WAYSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL YOU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, AND TO ALL THE TEACHERS "WE NEED MORE LIKE YOU"

Sunday, September 26, 2004 2:39 PM CDT

Well i have good news for all who have been keeping up on Lance's treatment.

HE IS HOME, HE IS HOME.
We just came in from the hospital this morning. He still has a very low WBC (white blood count), platelets and hemoglobin are also still very low. We are still waiting for those darn stem cells to grow, but we will not know for at least another week, but as it looks now the only way his counts are going to come up is with medicine (nupigen). he can not stay on that forever.
I take him to the clinic on Thursday and i will update more then.
We also have this option of going through more treatment for him, but i am really not sure and the doctors are going to run some test and find out if this tumor is still on the bottom of his spine and what we are going to do about it.

As for now MY BABY IS HOME FROM THE BONE MARROW UNIT, AND HE IS SO HAPPY TO BE OUT OF THERE.

IF YOU READ ALL OF THIS WOULD YOU PLEASE GO AND VISIT:

www.lunchforlife.org all we ask is for you who read this to give up lunch for a day or however long you would like.
Please help us find a cure for this horrible monster that has invaded my son, and is still trying to break up everything it touches, but we are going to fight, and my son has to win.

Thank you all

Krista and Lance
we love you all

Wednesday, September 8, 2004 11:22 PM CDT

Hey everyone, Lance says hello to all those who have been keeping up with his treatments. And i have to tell you this last week has been a long one for him.
Transplant is over, he came through it like a champ. We were so unsure of what it would be like it was just making us very nervous. I was very scared for Lance. They spread the transplant over a two day period. They had collected 4.8 million stem cells for this. they then seperated those in to 10 2 oz bags. they were frozen in liquid nitrogen with preservatives. They transplanted 5 bags a day. Lance told me that it was painful goin in and it left a really wrotten taste in his mouth. but he did it. he became quiet sick the first day, but the second day it was not untill the end that he asked the doc to slow down a bit it was hurting just a bit to much for him. he did not get sick at all on the second day and has slept since the transplant has finished. they both took about and hour and ten minutes to complete. Since the transplant we have been having some difficulty with his blood pressure being extremely high, and his heart rate is staying high. They gave him some meds to help, and on top of all that he had to get platelets again.
I just want to let all you out there who read this to know that Lance is not lettin anything stop him, he even started back to school on teusday the 7th. He was actually showing his teacher how to do the math. Lance is an amazing child who lets nothing stop him not even "CANCER".
As a parent i am definitely learning what the most important things are in life.

I thank you all those who have been here: Dad (dease), Danny Porsha MRS. COON AND ALL THE TEACHERS AT WAYSIDE YOU GUYS ARE THE MOST AWESOME SET OF TEACHERS ANY SCHOOL COULD EVER HAVE.

THANK YOU,
KEEP PRAYING

KRISTA AND LANCE

Monday, August 23, 2004 1:58 PM CDT

Hi everyone, i am just writing to give everyone the update.
Well Lance was in testing all last week, monday and teusday he had bone scans, mri's, ct scans and they found nothing, well on thursday i just want to let everyone know that they found a tumor at the bottom of lance's spine. We are not to sure where it has come from and not to sure what is going to happen from here.
Lance is a fighter and he is not about to give up the fight, he is trying to find ways to figure things out as far as this cancer goes. He wants a cure we all want a cure.
I want to give everyone the name of a website, and if you could please help us we may be able to find a cure.

www.lunchforlife.org
lance's story is not there yet but it will be soon and it will be all good. Please everyone pray for lance.
On August 30th lance will be going in to the hospital to have his transplant. I am scared for him. i will try and keep this updated each week on his progress. keep sending him emails. and soon he will start emailing everyone back.

Thank you all for everything,
Krista and Lance

This is just an update to let everyone know that lance is home once again. He had a very large tumor removed from the top of his left kidney. They were able to remove the whole tumor. The cancer on the inside of the tumor was still cancerous, but lance is going to keep fighting. he has the will and determination of a bull. he just keeps going. He has his bad days and his good days but he is happy once again to be home.
The tumor was removed on the 21st of July, and he started his 6th round of chemo on the 27th of July. and now he is home playing with his puppy. Lance has taught me to stay strong. I know i cry for him, but he is a very strong and determined young boy, who by the way will be "13" in a week. we are going to attempt to have him a huge laser tag party, that is what he has wanted for a while now. well, i will write more here next time.

Thank you all for sending Lance emails and letters. He reads them everyday, and it really does make him feel better.

Keep the Prayers coming, and thank you all for your love and support.

Krista and Lance

Hey everyone, i am finally updating this to let everyone know the good news.
ALL THE TUMORS IN HIS NECK ARE GONE, ALL THE TUMORS IN HIS CHEST ARE GONE, AND ALL THE TUMORS IN HIS LEGS ARE GONE, AND THE TUMOR ON HIS LEFT ADRENAL GLAND HAS SHRUNK 40%. We are expecting to have surgery when counts come up, sometime within the next week.
And i wanted to let everyone know that Lance and all the kids went to cancer camp sanguinity. And boy did they ever have fun. Horses, boating, jumping off rock walls, the zipline, and much much more. Lance came home bruised from head to toe, and was admitted right into the hospital for 2 units of blood and a unit of platelets. he came home the following morning though. They all had a great time.
And the "Hulk" he is doing fine, (the puppy) he has everyone going crazy here. Well he went to the dr for the first time yesterday and got his shots and did real well, he is a great friend to all of us in this house.

KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING AND WE LOVE YOU ALL

Hey all, this is us again just letting everyone know that Lance is on his second day of his 5th round of chemo, so far he has only been sick twice. On the last home page i had here i was talking about a jack russell terrier for lance, well we found one that day, last thursday, he is 8 weeks old born April 16th, and guess what his name is "The Incredible HULK" "hulk" for short. he is so great. he has kept lance on his toes, and it is as though Hulk knows that lance is sick and is just so loving with him, but yet very hyper with everyone else. Dease has bought the puppy up here twice already to the hospital, and lance has walked him all over the hospital grounds. Lance is so happy with his new best friend, and i know the Hulk loves him just as much. well i will write more after this round is finished. we have surgery next, so i will keep everyone updated.

KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING AND WE LOVE YOU ALL.

Well it has been another long weekend for us. On Friday Lance woke up and his mouth was swollen. He had tried to pull his own tooth and did not succeed. It became infected and caused a severe blood infection since his counts were 0 across the board. His counts have been very low before, but never 0 all the way. well he was admitted in on Friday and antibiotics were started right away. He recieved 4 blood transfusion during the weekend and 3 platelet transfusions. His counts are still extremely low, but they let him come home as long as i promised to socially isolate him. Has anyone ever tried to socially isolate a 12 year old before.
Well on the 14th, Monday lance will start yet another round (5th) of chemo. this one is a biggy. Etoposide and Cisplatin at very high doses makes him very sick right away. Please continue your prayers.

I will update again as soon as possible.
and if anyone knows where i can get a Jack Russell Terrior that is around 6-8 weeks old i would like to know that is what lance wants and i can not find one. we want to get it for him after his surgery which will be in 3 1/2 weeks.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU SUPPORT AND PRAYERS.

Well another week has come and gone, and the 4th round of chemo is over. Lance became quite sick with this round, and it is still going. he is having a hard time keeping anything in his stomach. but the good news is is that this one is finished, and we are now one step closer to transplant, and removal of the tumor on his left kidney. I see in Lance's face that he is very nervous with all that is to come. this is a long hard battle for him, and it is very scarey. I tell him all the time that with all the prayer, and the love that he is getting that i hope it makes the battle just a bit easier for him.
Well on the other hand let me tell you all what Lance did yesterday as soon as he came home from the hospital. Lance has been wanting an electric scooter for a while now, well he got one yesterday. in between the throwing up and all he was out the door and riding that scooter till the battery went out (for the both of them that is, the scooter and lance). He scared us because he wants so much to be back to the way it used to be that he just took off and was gone. he was all the way on other blocks and all, but we had to tell him that he could not go off our block at this time.
Lance is a fighter, and he has so much prayer for him that i know in my heart he is going to make it through but i do understand that there will be some really rough terrain to go on.
PLEASE KEEP ALL THE PRAYERS COMING THEY ARE SO APPRECIATED.

Monday May 24th Lance was admitted back into the hospital for his 4th round of chemo. when we came here to the clinic to check his blood i was not sure if he was going to be high enough on his count being that on thursday he was so very low. well he bumfuzzled the dr.s again. he was at 92,000. woo hoo it is great. Lance is doing amazing here. he has gained weight, (due to getting his appetite back, and his daddy's good cooking)he is now 89 lbs. Lance is doing great at the present time and it is due to all the prayers and love that he has been given. Lance is a great kid, and we all love him. come see him and show him all the love and support that you can. I know that is what is helping him stay as strong as he is.

THANK YOU ALL,
Krista Lynes Proud mother of five wonderful children who have taught me how to live my life one day at a time, and have been my inspiration to love life. Do not do anything today that you will regret tomorrow.

WE LOVE YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH, YOUR PRAYERS ARE BEING ANSWERED.

Well Lance you have made it for 9 days so far at home. well on teusday your platelets were at a "3" not 300 not 3000 but "3". well today on thursday you are at 19,000. Lance you are doing so great. You are still my inspiration, and my hero, as my other children are also. Lance you are putting up such a strong fight that i know you will conquer this disease.

Lance will be admitted in to the hospital on Monday May 24th. he will start his 4th round of chemo on that day. as tough and hard as his chemo is, lance pulls right through it. I know he gets through it because of all the love and prayer that is going on special for him.

Welcome home son, you have done it once again. you have now finished your third round, (which the dr's said would be the hardest). you got sick alright, but came right back out of it. when i look at you and what you are going through i see the look in your eyes i see that you are going to put all your might and fight towards it and you will conquer it. lance i just want to let you know again that you are my inspiration. and forever you will be my "HERO" .
Lance went to school yesterday, and they were having a book signing for the yearbooks. when the kids saw him standing at the door to the gym, they formed a line all the way through the gym. i was nervous at first, but them became emotional from all the love and support you are recieving. i have come to learn over these last 2 months, that when things tend to turn in the wrong direction, it is up to us to get back going the right direction. and i see that that is exactly what you are doing. YOU ARE GOING TO FIND THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND YOU WILL FIND YOUR WAY.
Lance i am so sorry you have to go through this, but everything that has ever been put in front of you you have mastered with honors. you can do it with this also.

THANK YOU ALL UNCLE DANNY, AUNT PORSHA, UNCLE KELLY, AUNT JULIE, UNCLE KENNETH, AUNT CASSIE, AND GRANDMA IN TEXAS AND GRANDMA AND GRANDPA IN NEW YORK, AND AUNT IRIS, AND UNCLE ANDREW

Today is Lance's 47th day in the hospital. He is on the third day of stem cell harvest. no news yet but the first two days he did not give them enough, so here we are doing it again. Lance's tumor on his kidney has shrunk from a 3 to a 2 (woo hoo) and the tumors that were in his upper chest have either shrunken down to where they are not visible with the ct scan or they just might be gone. (woohoo). Lance is up playing video games alot but he sleeps more now then he ever has. he is asleep maybe 16 hours out of the day. we just found out that he has gained a pound. (woo hoo) he came in here on March 14th weighing in at 101, he is now 79.3 pounds. Lance is becoming his old self little by little. he is still a little angry with all this but he seems to be a little more accepting, i on the other hand am still not sure what to do. Lance has had so many prayers, and friends visiting that it has taken up alot of his attention. which is so great.
Lance and I would like to thank everyone for everything. Dad i love you, forrest, catherine, kasha, and kyla i love you also and thank you for being my brother and sisters you are all great. Aunt P and uncle D you guys have been so good to me, i love you so much. Uncle K and Aunt C you guys have been great and i love you guys to, Grandma (tx) i love you and thank you. well i also want to thank all my friends from wayside, and especially the teachers because they can not give me school work right now LOL but i will be back soon and stronger than ever
