We can appreciate what you and your family are experiencing. We also can appreciate what a God sent blessing these miracle babies can be. Caleb touched so many lives in his time with us and I can tell that Destiny is doing the same thing. There is truly a reason God loans us these special children if for no other reason than to make us aware of how awesome His love can be. There are people that don't understand how we can praise God for these little ones because they seem to have such a hard time. But there is always a plan and we just have to follow him through to the other side to understand it. I personally work for a housing authority filled with elderly people. They have told me how much Caleb touched their lives and made them appreciate their lives instead of constantly complaining about their aches and pains. Their thought was if this small child can be happy then why can't they. Your family will be in our prayers for God's will to be done in your lives and that you enjoy happiness and peace. Megan had throat surgery in 2004 and it wasn't until then did we know that she had severe allergies to milk, egg, soy, bananas, strawberries and nuts. Since we have eliminate those foods from her diet, she has done much better. I didn't know if Destiny has ever been tested. It is done with a skin test and blood draw. I hope this information might be helpful to you. I was so happy that you and Destiny made it home to Texas. I know it has been a long road for you but you are such a devoted mother and an inspiration. I will continue to keep the both of you in our prayers. Megan is doing well and has a new baby sister. The biggest issue we have with Megan is getting weight on her. I hope you get home soon.
