This is the first half of Psalm 86. I know it's a bit long, but it's really special and I pray that it will give you comfort.
Ps 86:1-7: Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. I hope you enjoyed your brithday. I'm so sorry to hear that you had a grand mal seizure. We are praying that the VNS gives you the control and improvement in your seizures that you need. Picked a verse that speaks of what happened around here a couple of nights ago. I live in Seattle, and the Lord brought "the wind out of his treasuries"! We lost power for about 14 hours and the internet for a lot more. So I'm sorry I haven't been around but know that you've been in my prayers!

It's hard coming up with different ways to say "I'm praying" when I sign guestbooks. Know that I am praying so for you! But what's more important is what this passage says. It's my very favorite passage. It says that the Holy Spirit Himself is praying for you! Oh what comfort these verses bring!

It's been a while since I've had the time to sit and check in on everyone. I absolutely love the new poem on your page it brought tears to me eyes. Did you wirte it? We will be thinking about you on your journey to Memphis. Sara has had the video EEG monitoring too many times to count. Your right, the glue smell is horrendous and you pick it out of thier hair for months afterward but its worth the results. Sara was a canidate for sugery and hence her hemispherectomy. Hi Tabby and Karen- I hope you are doing well. Happy to hear the levels were low and an increase in the meds could be done! I hope Tabby is getting a decrease in the nasty seizures again!!! I just can't get over how much Tabby has changed in the time that we have known you- she is so adorable and growing so much. I'm noticing that with so many of the CB kids. I was thinking today how different Morgan looks with hair! :)
I can't wait for us to have piggy tails like Tabby and Taylor! So cute.

Tabby is so strong and I know she will get through all of this. I understand what you mean about FINALLY having an explaination about the seizures. My friend Aleia has the VNS and it helps a lot. But, if Tabitha doesn't have to have the VNS yet then why do it? I'm pretty sure that's what you're getting at. You are so strong Tabby and your mama and your family is to. Wow! A family picture that is 4 generations! That's amazing. We were able to do that with my first daughter, Michelle. You found me through a friend's CB page. Hey Tabby and Karen! Sorry, I haven't signed in a while, but I am ALWAYS thinking about ya'll. First of all, I was so sorry to hear about your grandmother passing away, Karen. I know how close you were, and I am sure that you feel like a small part of you is missing now. But her sweet spirit will live on through you and your precious family. She sounds like a remarkable lady who will be greatly missed and always remembered!
Tabby, you have just had a terrible time the last couple of weeks, haven't you? First, a virus with bad poopies and now, a bad ol' rash!!! But I'm so glad to hear that you're still smiling and squeeling!!! You are getting to be such a big girl! It won't be long and you'll be bigger than your Mommie! :0) Well, you're definitely beautiful just like her!!! Are you enjoying having Bradley home this summer? I bet you two have lots of fun together! You ought to take Mrs. Cyndi's offer up on swimming in her pool - that would be so much fun!!! By the way, Karen, there was a booth at the Mito conference about aquatic therapy and they had some great stuff, including flotation aids and instructional videos - their website is www.sprintaquatics.com. I know that you said were interested in that before. Taylor loves it and did great last year, and we will probably start back soon.
I hope the whole West Family has a great Fourth of July! I hope that we can get together again soon, when Tabby gets better! I hope and pray that she continues to have more and more GREAT days!!! May God Bless You, Karen - You are an incredible mother!!!

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling a little better today. I was reading about the Roseola and it says once you get it and have recovered your body develops an immunity to it and you don't ever get it again. I wish that was true with everything and by the time you are a teen-ager you wouldn't have to be sick anymore. You're picture is so beautiful and I want to hug you so bad.
