Praying for your sweet girl and hope all goes well. My name is Eva and I am a friend of a friend of yours, Jessica Phillips.
She told me about your daughter as I was nearing the birth of my own daughter back in February cause she was diagnosed in utero with a Congenital heart defect too. She had Pulmonary Atresia with a VSD. And at 5 days old had open heart surgery to do a complete repair. She is now doing good. But I remember, surgery days are hard.

I'm so grateful for the progress Kennedy has made this year. Although I attend Belmont, I have never met your family but became interested and prayerful for your situation last year when we prayed for you just before delivery. My first grandbaby was due in Sept and I immediately felt an attachment to Kennedy. My granddaughter was born Sept 21, living in CA at the time, and only had some minor weight-gain problems--nothing compared to all you have been through. I have really enjoyed reading all the history and updates on Kennedy and have continued to pray for her. It has been a privilege and blessing to see our prayers answered. I got your website from your grandmother, Corinda. She keeps my little Ryan from time to time. Ryan is now 23 months old. He has bilateral retinoblastoma and a chromosome deletion called 13 Q minus. Anyway, I know our stories are totally different, but I am so excited to see you and know specifically what to pray. We are just now starting a website for Ryan. Life was so crazy it seemed. My husband has been diagnoised with several serious things. In my prayer, I have asked God on how to pray or how to believe with him, especially when he wasnt able to believe for his recovery.
I was let to Perry Stone ministry which has 'The Meal That Heals'.
In taking the communion, so very much has changed with his health and spiritual life.
God is so very awesome!

It's incredible reading the entire journal to see the hand of our Heavenly Father! God Bless your baby and you all. My son was almost two months old when he left Vanderbilt Children's hospital after surgery on the day or his birth and life threatening complications thereafter. I have great empathy for your experiences as parents and for your precious baby. It was such a horrendous, difficult and trying time for me. It shook my faith to the core. I want to encourage you by letting you know my son is now 16 and playing in Baseball Allstars tournaments and enrolled in honors classes. This after all the worst reports from the doctors (possible brain damage, possible paralysis, etc) The doctors were trying to do their jobs, really and are instruments of God.
Sometimes they loose sight of the pain their words can cause. Be strengthened and no matter what, know God is holding you as you have held (and also I am sure at times longed to hold) and comfort your precious child.

I did not know of your situation until church last Sunday when Phil asked us to pray for you. I was holding the two month old baby of a friend at the time and my heart ached for Kennedy Grace. Of all the prayers we pray, more should be for the unborn. I think Kennedy's situation has emphasized that. What a privilege it is to join with unnumbered covenant brothers and sisters in praying for this little one. As we have prayed for her heart, she has established a place in our hearts. Today we proclaim the peace and unfailing love of the Lord over Kennedy, Jay, Rose, Madison and Morgan as they enter the home stretch. Once again we ask that the will of the Father will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
