My Baby Sachi, passed away on May 11/2005,also of a Rhabdoid tumor, only five days after being diagnosed with cancer, she was just ten months old I also miss her infinitely and if there is someone who can say they understand what you feel it is me... Today 6/30/2005 would be my Angel's first Birthday and no matter where she is I know she is thinking of me...Just like Ruby is thinking of you, and she always will...Love

I just wanted to say I saw your little Ruby as I was looking at my granddaughter Paige-Hope, who had what your little one had and had to write to let you know that I am very sorry for you all. There are now words to describe the horrible things these children have had to suffer because of this vicious cancer.
God bless you and give you peace.

I just came across your precious baby's site, and I'm now in tears and am at such a loss for words. Ruby was just beautiful, and I'm heartbroken that she's no longer with you. I'm a mom myself, and I can't begin to imagne what you're going through but I wanted you to know that I share a bit of your pain.

Sending you peace.

I look at the Rhabdoid Kids site often because my godson Zane Gardner is also an Angel Kid who passed from ATRT.
I look in on the other websites to see if there are any updates from the parents. Looking again on Ruby's site. She was just so beautiful. Our Angels are gone but never forgotten.
God Bless,
Bernadette

My heart and prayers have been with you since the day I knew Ruby was sick. I hope your pain is easing more day by day with God's will. I wish you all of God's love to heal your broken heart.

Lisa,
I hope you know what a special person you are and the strenght that it took for you to see Ruby go through such a terrible illness.
I remember talking to you on the phone while you were holding Ruby cradled in your arms(with her little hand on your waist). You told me that you were so afraid of losing her and never having that feeling again.I pray that you will have that feeling again some day and I know that Ruby will forever be in your heart. God wanted that precious little angel with him and she is now in his arms.

Dearest Lisa and Sean:
I can not count the number of tears I have shed for Ruby, for you, and for your family. I truly feel so blessed to have known her and to have walked with you through such a hard, hard, journey.... I can tell you I am forever changed by knowing her and feel honored to be able to continue to walk with you as you face the even harder journey of grief. Ruby will never be truly gone, for she will live forever in your heart and memories. I know she will live forever in mine...

Lisa and Sean,
You know I try to be philosophical and realistic about God's plan for each and every one of us. This time, however, I was too close to even see the reason for Ruby's suffering. I was angry with God for quite some time for making her suffer through so much pain. I truly loved her as if she were my own. However, after time I came to realize that she will forever watch over you, Sean, and all of the people she touched. We were blessed to have loved her while she was here on earth. We will be blessed when we see her again in Heaven. I know she will be waiting and watching with those beautiful blue eyes. I bet she whispers peaceful words each day and if we stop and listen we may hear her joy.

Hello,
Your story of your little Ruby has left me with tears and pain in my heart. She is so beautiful. It is so hard to beleive. Where did this horrible cancer come from? Why is its victims these beautiful little angels? My Godson Zane Gardner passed away in Sept 2004 of ATRT just one month shy of his first birthday. It was the worst day of my life. I still think of him daily and although I know he is in a better place, I still cry because I wish that he was here with us. He suffered for months. It was one surgery and one crises after the other and dozens of chemo treatments. The pain and suffering he endured was not fair. For every good day he had there were 5 bad days. We just thought that he would be that 10% chance and beat this cancer. At 11 months his mom chose not to put him through anymore pain. He was on Hospice for 2 weeks until he passed. He was the little love of my life, as I know Ruby was yours! With sincere sympathy , I am truly sorry and may God Bless You,
Bernadette

Hi Lisa, you don't know me, but my grandson had cancer when he was 19 mos. old. He's 5 now and is doing great. So you see God does answer prayers. I found out about little Ruby thru my daughter, Kimberli Smith, it's her little boy that had cancer (Patrick).Dawn knows both of them, Tommy was in the hospital one of the times with Patrick. You keep your chin up and look up to our Lord Jesus, he will comfort you and will always be by your side. May God Bless you and your family and put his healing hands on your precious little Ruby! Remembering you in my thoughts and prayers.
