Just letting you know that I'm thinking of you.

Praying hard for you mom! Can't imagine how she's feeling. :( I'm always in the hospital for that! Reading Abby's story and the stories of so many others on CB has made me realise that hey, I'm really not as bad off as I think I am. There are so many more out there going through more. Its a comfort to find people who understand and know what its like to take loads of meds, stay in the hospital, feel sick while looking great... helps so much when you go through a rough patch. :)

Has Abby's page made me stop and think? Oh, yeah!! When Kaidrie was DX cancer was not a part of my vocabulary. I knew it existed, but to me cancer was an adult disease. Kaid was 3 and I couldn't imagine why this was happening to my baby - at such a young age. I started reading Abby's site long before I ever signed her guestbook. She was the first site I read where an infant had cancer. Abby was a teeny baby, and it was hard to swallow. I guess I had been living in this la la world, thinking nothing bad ever happened to our little children. My eyes were opened wide when I started reading about Abby and then of other babies as well. I am so thankful for our CaringBridge family, for like you said there are days when a simple guestbook entry can mean the world. Although I can't say I know EXACTLY how you feel, I can say that I feel some of the same things you feel. And we are there with you and your precious family. You've been such a huge help, and coming here and seeing your cute photo's just brings more smiles to my face. Kaidrie loves looking at your pictures and she can be across the room and see Abby's pictures and come running toward the computer saying "cute Abby, cute Abby." So, yes, Abby's site had made me stop and think ~ we're not in this alone. For we're a "family" now. And I am so thankful for my new "family." You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers daily.

Thinking of you this Easter and always. May the glorius fact that HE IS RISEN fill your heart to overflowing!

Howdy! I love the look of your page! You are doing so well! Good for you, I STILL have to look up the codes when I add stuff! What a sweet little girl you are. You are just like your nana. She's a sweet girl too. Ha! Ha! Just wanted to take a minute to tell everyone in this world that not only is Abigail the cutest little girl, she is also the sweetest, most precious little girl one could ever want to meet. She knows no strangers, and she loves attention, "Don't they all?" The one thing Abby had as an advantage while fighting cancer, was the fact that she didn't know she had it. I watched her get stuck with needles, and whimper a little, but before the needle was out of her tiny arm, she would be looking up at the nurse and smiling that big beautiful smile. I thank God for every minute I have been able to spend with you Malissia. You are pretty super yourself, lady. You have been the most compassionate mother and wife I have had the pleasure to know. Hello special people! :)
How's Baby doing? I'm going through a tough time with one of my own "babies". Her name is Chessie, only 3 years old and one of the sweetest, gentlest cats you could ever know. She is VERY ILL, doctor is very guarded in her opinion of Chessie getting well. I am syringe feeding her and medicating her several times a day. My "babies" mean the world to me and I hope it is "meant to be" that she gets well. Breaks my heart. I have 5 - Chessie, Cutie - both 3 years old. Tristan and Riley - both 2 years old and the baby of the clan - Mia - 1 year old. They are all so precious in such unique ways. Truly, pets are blessings from God.

Oh I don't think it's odd AT ALL to pray for our pets and ALL animals. Abby looks great. I am sorry to hear about the tooth pain, but if that is the worst thing that happens then your ok. I am so glad to hear that abby is doing so well that you are finding a regular pediatrician. You definetly need to be picky about any doctor she sees.

I was also so so sad to hear of Mirandas passing. I too have a little angel in heaven. My little Will passed at 5 years old from Leukemia.

Good luck to Abby and her family as I first hand know what its like to lose a dearly loved one through Neuroblastoma. Bianca Kate Isaacson-Pevitt was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 Neurobalstoma on March 5 2004 and we were told there was absolutely nothing we could do for her and her parents brought her home to die. Our darling BK passed away on May 11 after a tough and inspiring battle at the age of 1 year 9 months and 2 days but it sounds like Abby has licked her disease and I trust that it will stay that way and I wish the family all the best in their fight against this ugly and sinister disease. You can do it Abby you have made it this far and we are sure you can lick this.

Every time i read of another childs illness, it breaks my heart. The courage these kids show is remarkable and we can learn a lot from them. Hello Abigail, You sure are a cutie. I am sorry you had to get those shots. My little ones don't like them either. I also understand that struck by lightning twice thing. My little Will was a premie. He weighed 2 pounds 7.8 ounces at birth. I thought that would be his big story. But a month before he turned 3 he was diagnosed with ALL. So he had an even bigger story. Now he is one of Gods angels.

I think your piggy tails are cute. I am going to see if my 18 month old has enough hair for them. Have a Happy Valentines day and a Happy Birthday.

It was good to hear from you I read her website about every other day and check on hers and Jason thay have grown very fast because It seem like yesterday that were little. The helplessness I felt during the few weeks Eileen was in pain from her ulcers was practically unbearable, so I cannot fathom what Chandra and Brian are going through right now. Jake was a joy. Hi, found your website on someone else's site. I know about being hit by lightning twice. My son had hepatic failure and had a liver transplant and then 3 weeks later he was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. They said his liver failure was caused ny a virus. I am glad that your daughter is doing good.

My name is Tammy and I had Neuroblastoma as an infant. I am now 33 years old with 2 children of my own. Please be encouraged that there IS the possibility of longterm remission, hopefully the cancer will stay gone forever for me and all of you too. I went into remission before age 3 and haven't had it come back. I have other health problems as a result of the chemo and radiation I received. My name is Sherri and last August I had a beautiful baby boy that was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at birth due to a 6cm tumor in the abdomen. After they had removed the tumor, it came back within 2-3 weeks so we moved to NYC with 1 week to see the doctors and seek tratment at Memorial Sloan-kettering. It eventually spread to his liver and bone marrow and at 6months of age, started regressing on its own. He is now 14 months and it is completely gone. I was wondering if you would be willing to e-mail me and tell me your story of Abby and exactly what the doctors told you about her diagnosis and probability of it returning.
