This is a couple months overdue, but better late than never, right?
Alex went back to see Dr. Mason on December 6th, 2006. Since he was doing so well off the methotrexate, Dr. Mason decided it was time to withdraw the Naproxen. We spent a couple weeks weaning Alex off the Aleeve and as of the New Year his is med free! He will go back to see Dr. Mason in June and, with any luck, will be officially declared in a remission and released from his care.
Of course, there is no guarantee that he will stay in remission forever, but we are hopeful that he will be one of the lucky kids who outgrows this disease.
Love to all,
Kimberly & Co.
P.S. We are JAM'ing for a Cure again this year. Please visit our Team Page and consider sponsoring one of us! Thank you!
