Hi Alex. My name is Lisa. You haven't met me yet, but your mom and I were best friends in high school. I just wanted to say hi and tell you that I think that you are a very brave and smart person--like your mom. Stay strong and I hope to see you sometime soon.

Hi Alex. My name is Alexander McGee, so I typed it in to Google and your name came up. I noticed that you have arthritis and it interests me very much since it is one of the auto-immune disorders that all us McGee's seem to suffer from. I went to your mom's web site to leave this note, but couldn't find it. Please let your mom (or dad) read this. I was raised by my grandparents in Florida. They said my dad was an American Indian from South Carolina, but I've never found anything on him. By the way I'm 66 years old!
Please ask your mom or dad to email me, because of your arthritis and my auto-immune disorder.

Your mom loves you so very much, so don't mind when she fuses over you from time to time! Us mom's just do that, we can't help it!! LOL.
Much love to you from us in Michigan.

Hey Alex! Found your page through a link on Lisa's and I wanted to stop in and say HI. Your journey so far sounds a lot like how mine was at the beginning. The good news is that there are so many new treatments and theories out there now that can really help and, of course, you aren't alone - so many people are cheering you on and there are a bunch of us arthritis warriors on CaringBridge for support. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, especially for your appointment tomorrow! :c)
