I hope you guys enjoyed having Gavin home. I watched Extreme Home Makeover Edition last night with the Marine. It really hit home as my brother is in the NAVY. So thankful that we have guys like Jerry and Gavin to fight for our freedom. Make sure you thank him for me!

I can imagine the anxiety you must feel as your appointments are fast approaching. I remember reading awhile back and thinking February...March?? That's so far away...but here we are. Absolutely lovin' the picture of "My Three Sons"--how very blessed you are with your Coach, Sergeant and Guitarist. What a handsome bunch. And to have a gorgeous daughter in there, too--well, there ya go!!!! Great picture.

And it's good to hear that everything is all set with Mayo; it's helps to have everything under control, so to speak. And I agree, the less time spent there, the better!!!

Thank you Pam for the birthday greeting you sent me, your so sweet. And yes, unfortuantely I added another year to my ripe old age this past Saturday. I love the picture of Nolan coaching he looks so good at what he is doing.

Pam,I bet your feelings of excitement are beyond words knowing your boy will be home soon in your arms. I just wish he could stay here forever don't you? I hate to even think of(my nephew)Gary's deployment which is going to be taking place in less then two weeks. How will I manage without him here in the states. Just pray for him to have a safe return.

I am so happy to hear Nolan is doing so well for a change so he can at least enjoy his schooling and coaching job. Sending my best wishes Nolan on your upcoming hockey games.

Hey Guys,
It is just Matthew and I stopping by for some updates. Glad things are going well at the moment. We have been to a few MN Wild hockey games. My brother has season tickets along with David's parents so occasionally that means we can go-YAHHOOOO! We also love going to the MN Gophers games! Matthew loves hockey! His 3 older siblings play for IGH Hockey Association. Hannah is 8 and is on the girl U 8 team, Noah who is 7 is on Mites and Joshua who is 5 is on minimites. Boy, they keep us very busy with their practices and scrimmages etc... Matthew can't wait to start. He has a natural ability and interests where his brothers don't. Hannah is actually pretty good and has the most pontential which is ok by us. But, I am sure David is hoping for a Gopher or Wild prayer. I guess it is ok to dream. Well, I hope your weekend is going good! Thoughts are prayers are coming your way! God Bless!

I was thrilled to read that Gavin was back in the United States! That is wonderful news and such an answer to prayer!

I'm also glad to hear that Nolan has been injury-free lately! And that he's doing an awesome job coaching! How neat to hear the coach rave about your son over the radio!

Nolan will be in our prayers as his appointment at the Mayo Clinic nears. I hope they will be able to provide some positive news and answers.

I can't even tell you how happy I am that Gavin is back in the USA! I've been meaning to sign long before this, but ANOTHER (slightly lesser) form of the crud got me in its grips again. Whew, made it through another one, just in time to freeze to death this weekend :)!

Yippee, Gavin is on the way home. You must be so excited, Pam? How come it takes so long for him to be "processed" and such? Will he then stay locally and work? Thank G-d he was there keeping us save, but enough is enough and I am so glad he is coming home. As for Nolan, perfect timing on the appointment. How far do you live from Mayo? There is a doctor I may go see out there. He supposedly is the leading headache specialist in the country and a good friend of my IL neurologist. I sure hope you keep this site up and running. Kim, to make those cute little hearts, all you have to do is type an ampersand (&) and then the word "hearts" followed by a semicolon (;). You type it all together -- like this (but all together): & hearts ;

Having a sports-loving son of my own (he's 18) I must say how much I admire your perseverence in the midst of a bunch of tough setbacks. I know how tough it would be for Nathan to have gone through what you have and I want you to know I admire you and am pulling for you.
