I just want you to know that I came upon Max's caring bridge when doing a search for something that is non relevent to Max. I guess this is a sign to let you know your son is being thought of by someone today. I may be a stranger but I just wanted you to know that Max's story has touched my heart. I am recalling the day Max came over to spend time with me. It was such fun to talk and play with him. People in the business world sometimes spend all their working days trying to impress and promote their product--this little friend was not intentionaly trying to impress me, but managed to win my heart in just a couple hours! Much credit is given to his family and extended family for setting a secure foundation for this young man to be so comfortable with others. I will remember him always!

Dear Paul, Trish, Sam, Parker & Bailey - Have been thinking of you these past couple of days and will be thinking of all of you tomorrow. I'm also thinking of Max and what an impression he made on me in his short life. I'd like to thank all of you for teaching me that life is worth living even when the one's you love the most are no longer with you. Our relationship with our loved ones doesn't end because they've died...it changes...and we continue to have a relationship, but in a different way. The love never ends. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers - they have helped in dealing with my losses.

Dear Paul & Trish,
I wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of you, your family and of course, Max. In May our 4 year old niece was diagnosed with ALL. She is doing quite well with chemo. They are giving her a good chance for a cure. The diagnosis prompted me to reread your journal. Once again, I have to thank you. Letting us in on your journey was a gift. I am glad that there is still a place I can go when thoughts of Max enter my day. I will always remember Max's bravery and strength. He is a beautiful boy that has touched my heart forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.
